I LOVE THIS PJs!!!! Perfect location, stellar employees, gorgeous building & badass ferns outside!

Admittedly I gave the “atmosphere” fewer stars than everything else. It’s regarding the amount of dogs that come through. As in, the “so obviously not even remotely a genuine ADA service dog” type of pup. What’s up with that, y’all?

It’s tough to avoid getting close to them & and so many times I’ve had to leave due to that. I’m pretty sure animals aren’t supposed to be in dining establishments in New Orleans…for good reason.

As much pride as “Furbaby Parents” have for their little snuggle bugs (which is wonderful & so so sweet), some of us are severely allergic, have experienced dog-related trauma, or simply don’t want a strange, probably dirty & potentially unpredictable critter staring at us from the table 18 inches away. Or brushing up against our legs. Or jumping up on us, or growl-nipping at our ankles, which happened to me & is pretty much what inspired this review.

The dog’s actions understandably startled me & I muttered “Oh, hell no!” as I jumped back. It’s owner gasped, then death-glared at me the entire time it took me to walk out the door. Again.

There are definitely folks reading this & saying “if you don’t like the pups, don’t come!” Well, that’s unrealistic & humans shouldn’t have to live their lives tiptoeing around Mr Pibbles & company. Plus, considering how much money my family spends at PJs, as well as the tour guests I send here every single day, I don’t think Corporate would agree that I should boycott this hangout.

Ah. CASE IN POINT!!! A dachshund just walked in. I can smell it, it’s so close. Time to...

Always had a pleasant experience. I was in town for two weeks visiting my best friend and Godfather of Mauricio Diaz. daughter also he is Vice President of Diaz incorporated. Walking in by myself all the staff was very polite, personable, professional, and the all of the P.J. I visited were always clean and welcoming. I live in Colorado so when I go to New Orleans I usually go to Cafe du monde. After going to P.J I know where to get the best beignets, coffee or frozen coffee. The drive thru was fast but also made sure my order cam out just right. I highly recommend P.Js I have nothing but kind words to say regarding my experience. I believe anyone one else trying a new coffee and pastrie shop you wont be disappointed. Really wish we had one in Littelton. Thank you for...

I love this PJs. The baristas are always very prompt and friendly. It’s next to my gym and on my way to work. However, as of late, I haven’t been going to this location because of a man who stands outside and harasses customers for money and shakes his coin cup at you. It would be one thing if he was friendly but when you tell him no he curses at you. I’ve notified the workers that he may be deterring business but he’s still there every morning seven days a week talking to himself and asking people for money and/or coffee. Soliciting is illegal and the business owners should handle accordingly.

!!!!!!Can you please provide an update???? He just harassed me and cursed me as I walked by. It is out of...

After decades of visiting family in New Orleans, we were surprised to find our new favorite beignet spot right here at PJ's. Not all PJ's franchise locations serve beignets, but this one does and they are incredible! They don't use the usual deep fryer, and so the dough is much more soft, airy, and buttery almost like a croissant. So good! Love the style and art in the location as well. We will keep coming back whenever we're in town. (Thanks to the Underground Donut Tour for pointing us here!) P.S. For more of our favorite places in New Orleans, do a web search for "Intentional Travelers New Orleans" to find out blog post guides.

Got scammed out of $23! Ordered beignets for out of town guests. $23 payment was accepted & was given a pickup time and order number. However when I attempted to pick up, I was told that their “beignet machine doesn’t work after 6pm” & that they “never received” the order. I was denied a refund and told to “dispute the online app”. If their beignet machine truly doesn’t “work after 6pm”, they shouldn’t allow online orders for that item. Pick-up was at 6:33pm, ordered well before closing time. If you want to get scammed out of your money then order online here! You’re better off getting beignets down the street at Vintage

I came for a coffee and to use the restroom. The baristas were pleasant and efficient, but that's about the best about this spot. The dark roast coffee was cold and they used the steam brother to heat the coffee up to a mildly warm temperature. The restroom was "out of order," but I heard the toilet flush when one of the baristas had to use the bathroom while I was sitting writing this review. If I didn't have compassion for the employees, this location would get no stars. The staff is the only saving grace.v PJ's coffee has gone down it's own "out of order" toilet.
