Yesterday I went to Subway around 4:30pm on Allen Toussaint. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by I’m assuming the manager. She was sitting down playing in her phone at a table near the entrance. She didn’t have on any identification/uniform. I stood in line as there was one customer ahead of me. After a few seconds, I proceeded to the restroom since the restaurant wasn’t busy. When I returned from the restroom, the woman that was taking orders was also sitting at the table in her phone. I spoke to her in reference to taking my order. She looked at me in an annoyed manner, murmured something to her coworker/manager and went behind the counter. She didn’t wash her hands but proceeded to put gloves on and started fixing my sandwich. She briefly stopped fixing my sandwich, asked me if it was a combo and went to the register to ring up my order. She told me the price and then returned to continue fixing my sandwich. I asked her nicely if she could change out the gloves since she also touched the register. She told me she didn’t touch the register and showed me how she used her knuckle to press the buttons. She then proceeded to fix my sandwich. This resulted in two instances in which my sandwich could’ve been contaminated. She was very unprofessional in her tone, responses, and gestures. After she finished fixing the sandwich and I was paying for my order, she said take your receipt while walking away to assist another customer. Being that I was hungry (a breastfeeding mom on the go) & carrying my infant daughter, I refrained from engaging in an verbal exchange with her since I knew it could possibly escalate. This has to be the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Subway. I should’ve cancelled my order but I thought I would just reach out to a district manager or corporate instead. I wasn’t able to find any information to contact any support. All the numbers basically lead to no where, same with the site. I’m very...
Read moreThe address of this Subway location is 115 Allen Toussaint Blvd. The name of the street WAS Robert E Lee. It is no longer as of February 1, 2022
People who refuse to accept this street name change keep changing the address of this restaurant on google as 115 W Robert E Lee, which is still a valid street name and completely different street.
When using google GPS using the W Robert E Lee will direct you to the WRONG address. West Robert E lee is on the other side of Canal and is a small dead end street. It has a W in the name for WEST. It is not Robert E Lee. If google directs you to the the shopping mall that has a patio furniture store in it or a tall office building with urgent care in it. You are in the wrong spot. Please stop hassling the various employees in this other mall. We had nothing to do with the street name change, and do not want to hear your political views any longer, when you come in looking for Subway. Take it up with the city not us.
If you are looking for this Subway it's in the same mini mall location as Roberts Grocery.
Subway does not seem to keep up or lock the address in this Google profile.
Again the correct address for this store is 115 ALLEN TOUSSAINT BLVD near Roberts...
Read moreThis location is absolute garbage. They close their doors early on a regular basis even though their hours are listed on the door. If you go in 2 hours or less before close, don't expect anything hot. This is also one of the most unsanitary places I have ever been to. The workers are leaning over the food so much that their shirts and uncovered body parts are touching the food. It's utterly disgusting. I couldn't even bring myself to purchase the food they prepared after seeing it made. If you have any allergies or food sensitivity avoid this place at all costs as cross contamination is...
