I went to Wendyās on 5701 Read Rd on Sept 24 around 9pm, I order 3 four for $4s and a Asiago chicken sandwich meal with just cheese bacon and chicken on my sandwich. When I was trying to place my order in the drive through the girl kept telling me to hold on so she can tell the coworkers to be quick so she can hear me because they were playing and being loud. After I ordered my food I was asked to pull up and they will bring it out. I waited like a while before it was brought to me and all of the fries were cold and my Asiago sandwich was wrong. I went in the store and when I walked in the counter was filthy and one of the workers was laying across the counter eating a Wendyās sandwich but she got up when she seen me. They were clearly in there playing. So then I was just standing there waiting on someone to great me and like 2 of them walked past me and didnāt say anything. Then the manager came out the back cussing at the other workers about his cellphone being took off charge which was plugged up right by where the food is prepared. One of the workers told him he needed to chill out doing all that cussing in front of me but he didnāt seem to care. So he finally comes to the counter to ask me about the food and he has an attitude. I told him my fries were cold and the sandwich was wrong. He argued with me about the Asiago and what comes on it which I knew that because I read the description. Thatās why I was specific when I ordered. So then he gets the food and walks over to the garbage can next to where the food is prepared. He had his back to me but was turned sideways and not being discreet at all so I could see everything he was doing. He takes my sandwich that I just brought back and scrapes everything off it with his BEAR HANDS, no gloves. He was going to redrop my chicken after he had his hands all over it instead of giving me a new one. So I told him I donāt even want it to give me my money back. He went back and forth with me about giving me my money back saying he would have to call his manager and all this other stuff. I said I donāt want something you had your hands on. So he then takes the chicken that he had just scraped and put it with the other food that is going on other peoples food. Then says Iāll make it fresh and put one glove on. He goes to the freezer and grabs the chicken with the hand that doesnāt have a glove and then puts it in the hand that has the glove on and drops it in the grease. After the chicken was done he went over to where they prepare the food which is where his phone was plugged up and fixed my sandwich while he was constantly scrolling on his cellphone. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced and the nastiest! He does NOT need to be working around peoples food let alone being a manager. Itās really upsetting to spend $20 something dollars on food and itās not being prepared in a sanitary way and the customer service...

These people first played on the intercom as my boyfriend on oxygen ordered. Then, they preceded to change his order from large options to small! Then, he paid for a salad š„ and added chicken which was on the receipt š§¾ and the manager and employees still continued to play games. Saying that we could not get grilled chicken added on the salad after paying for it and it didnāt come with it. But on the receipt my boyfriend paid for it to be added! This is our second time ever coming to this restaurant in over 10 years and it has not changed one bit! The service is always horrible, the order is never right and the employees always seem to act like they own the business and products. Never returning here and I would never š suggest this location to anyone in the hood, because itās giving Hood vibes and Iām not with the foolishness! I wish I could add the video of them and how they completely acted oblivious and confused after telling us the salad š„ did not come with chicken after being added and paid for. They laughed and called me childish after I demanded my money back and all because I was recording them on my phone! š± I absolutely hate stopping in areas like this where employees would rather play with the customers then offer great service! We stayed and waited over 30 minutes while your employees and the manager continued to get the order wrong...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf I could give this place 0 stars I would, stopped there on the way back home, when I first walked we both slipped on the floor but caught ourselves. I LITERALLY think they mopped the floor with the left over fryer oil and their hatred for having to get up in the morning and work. I generally like wendys for fast food, but this was horrible. I got the asiago bacon chicken and they made it wrong, I asked for another one and they all looked at me like hell no we arent making you another. You'd think I walked into a grocery store asking for a brazilian wax the way they looked at me, finally someone obliged. When I bit into the sandwich it tasted off and when I looked at the meat it looked grey and old. It smelled bad. I had enough, so I ate my fries so I could have some sustenance. As we were leaving a gentleman and friend walked in and he slipped and fell so hard you could hear it throughout the store, he clearly hurt himself and couldnt get up. Not a single "employee" (i use that word loosely because of how pathetic their attempt at doing basic things on the job) tried to help him, no one said anything or even moved...they just let him sit their in pain without any consideration for decency.....
