Update: so as I mentioned to Domino's yesterday and perhaps in my below review, Domino's is trying to quote hold me hostage by forcing me to come back to their restaurant and purchase services in order to get a free pizza but that is not the problem I had apparently they didn't read the full review. First and foremost I want an apology from that manager who chewed me out about having a free pizza and not getting all my parts to my order. Frankly I'd like to see her reprimanded. Bottom line neither of the two options that Domino's offered me are acceptable to me because they require me to continue using their restaurant which is not going to happen. If you make a mistake own up to it don't try and fix it by forcing someone to come back to your services when you're rude as hell. Try again dominos. You can start with a public apology for your attitude Period I do hope you guys pull tapes and listen to the conversation between your manager and myself Period you will find that I was very nice to her Spoke calmly Tried to find a solution And she blocks me at every turn Including trying to tell me that I was causing a problem because I got a free pizza And I shouldn't expect all of the parts in my order Period at least that was her implication Period at the moment as a corporation I have no interest in dominoes anymore, but if I ever do it certainly will not be at that franchise location it will be at a different location after I have made sure that the same person doesn't own both. If you'd like to refund the order completely including the second extra tip that I gave the driver for having to come out in the rain common then we can talk. The entire order was cold and Soggy. And the pizza was practically inedible. I couldn't even get it crispy in my oven or my air fryer. I've had it with restaurants who try and hook you into coming back because they're only reparation to you is to give you a coupon to come back. This particular dominoes has had multiple problems over the years not just with me but with other people and I'm tired of it.
If you order pizza and save your points so you get one of those free emergency pizzas you should go and pick it up so that you get your entire order. Twice now back to back the Domino's at Southgate Plaza on US 19 in New Port Richey has taken my money and not delivered everything that was ordered. Sure it was just the garlic cups and I paid for a couple extra, but when I called about it the manager was quite rude to me I don't know what her name was she did not identify herself or if she did I couldn't understand what she said, but she was very rude. If you want your money credited back you have to go to the store with your credit card and ask them to do it there. However when you do that they aren't going to refund that money. They hold your money hostage by saying you can only get a store credit even though your pizza was delivered barely warm and now has to be heated in the oven. And if it was a free pizza because you saved up points you get nothing except a rude attitude telling you that you got a free pizza so you can't expect anything more than that. I was very calm and quiet and composed when I spoke to this rude woman and she twice pointed out that I got a free pizza but it really wasn't free because I bought previous pizzas earned points to get this pizza so it wasn't free at all. And I paid to have a couple extra items put on it outside of the free part. Domino's you have lost my business at least at this location. And I wouldn't keep hanging up on people like you did me. Not only is that rude and get you a bad public name but it's also a reason to just not use your restaurant anymore. I hope the franchise owner knows just how awful you guys are. But if he doesn't he will find out. And let me tell you lady just because I want what I paid for doesn't make me wrong. And just so you know, just because you say corporate won't do a thing except kick it back to you guys, we'll...
Read moreThis store is illegally denying cash currency. I am in the same profession running a restaurant.
The reason why we do not deny currency is cause it is against the law. We have a practice in place where we call and verify if the order is real because we understand that federal law and state law does not allow us to deny any form US currency...
If you place an order over $50 at this particular store they will demand a card. This is a very poor business practice. Never mind if it may be loop hole legal. You are allowed to deny the right to service, but what you're doing is denying currency. It can be proven.
I would understand if I was a first-time order ...but I have placed a large multitude of orders. This will be all proof needed of you denying currency. This is ridiculous. Treating me like I'm a crook. I tip well and I have a large family to feed. You don't want me as a customer because I pay with cash which is better for the economy and your business who doesn't have to pay a processing fee?
Wow, you have no reason being in business if you think that's a smart idea.
You are allowed to deny the right to serve. You are not allowed to deny cash currency as payment. Your corporate office will be contacted and informed of your bad business ethics. You're allowed to say you don't have change for 50s and $100 bills.... This is the practice we do at my restaurant as well to deter the chances of a delivery driver being robbed.. again a practice that is in place because we cannot deny cash currency.... You are not allowed to deny payment options for orders over $50... It's very clear this is a broke franchisee making his own rules.
You lost a customer over not accepting American currency in America... pathetic.
My order was $ $51.96.
How do you plan to stay in business with a minimum wage increasing? Your average ticket needs to be over $50...And you're going to deny cash currency for that and cost your business even more money by paying $2.75% of your profits in processing fees every transaction. If you are a smart business owner, you'd you'd want cash...
Read moreI have probably ordered pizza from here countless times in the past year. Mistakes happen and sometimes they mess up an order. I accept my free pizza, that I still end up paying $9 after delivery fees and move on.
But this is inexcusable. My handmade pan pizza was literally raw. There was no crust, and the center was just warm dough. It was so raw I could pull it off the pizza and stretch and mold it into different shapes...
I called to let them know and they had the audacity to say it's because of the toppings and that I should order my pan pizzas well done in the future....
Like seriously, you served me raw dough, that has egg in it, and you blame it on my Toppings and what style pizza I got?!?! It didn't even look like a pizza, cause one look at the lack of crust and a flat goey blob that something wasn't right. You literally cut it and put it into a box and was like yea this is ok to feed someone.
The one picture has no cheese on it, that is literally just dough. Then me holding a dough ball that was slowly stretching to about 6 inches, and one showing the lack of any crust. And that's a handmade pan, you know the one that's suppose to have...
