Great service. The food was delicious. Atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. 7/3/2024 update: atmosphere is one of the best. The view from sitting on the porch is amazing. The staff is great. This time service was a bit slow getting out the entrees. The entrees seemed a little over priced if you compare to Manisses and Winfields. Scallop dish with puréed peas was great. The Halibut over orzo with kale did not have much flavor at all. (You won’t always like everything on a menu). Was missing something. Adding some of the pea purée for the scallop dish did wonders. I mentioned to one of the waitstaff when they asked how things were ( not looking for anything in return). They offered to comp our drinks. Generous and unnecessary and we politely refused. $178 for a salad, two entrees, a manhattan and a non-alcoholic drink was a little high but if you take in the atmosphere and the nice staff and how nice the place looks…we’ll be back. Surprised by how bad this was. The server seemed aloof to our requests and the information we gave. When I told him I wanted to avoid treenuts due to an allergy he would check with the kitchen but never followed up with me. When I asked if a red sauce was a romesco he said he didn’t know why it was and didn’t know if it had nuts in it. The olive oil served with the bread was rancid. The scallop entree was a disaster. The scallops were from a frozen source, there was a heavy amount of raw garlic in the dish making it a huge surprise to get a mouth full of raw garlic disguised in the rice. Blows out the palette. I asked to order a cheese plate since the previous dish was inedible and asked for there to be no nuts on the plate. It arrived with...

The two appetizers we had were fantastic: foie gras and mussels. I enjoyed the duck, I also tasted the scallops and they were pretty good too. We both enjoyed the appetizers more than the main dishes. There are three dining areas: inside, the porch, and the patio. The patio is on the grass without any shade.
