Bagel Stop NSB — Restaurant in New Smyrna Beach

The place looked great, had a lot of option for bagels and bagel sandwiches similar to Einstein bros bagel and we wanted to try out a new small business bagel place. We placed our order for a bagel sandwich and a bagel with cream cheese. The sandwich was supposed to have a over medium egg and when we got it we went home to eat it and the egg was completely under cooked, so under cooked the egg whites were running and the egg yolk was everywhere soaking the entire sandwich and the entire sandwich smelt terrible. Also, while we were waiting for the food in the restaurant we notified a smell that was similar to vomit, when we got to the bagel part of our order we found out what the vomit smell was, it was unfortunately the cream cheese, this also tasted terrible. We walked in and we were confused where to go because there were 3 different registers in the place. But a nice lady in the coffee corner waved us over, gave us menus, put in our orders and brought it to us 🤩 the coffee was great, I had a caramel iced macchiato. To eat I ordered a cheddar bagel with bacon egg and cheese. The outside of the bagel was nice and crispy and the inside was soft. The bacon was thick cut and perfectly cooked. I also ordered a Cesar salad to go for lunch. I haven’t tried it yet but it looks good enough to eat before lunch! My fiance had the western omelet and they WERE NOT shy on the veggies and cheese haha. I walked in was given an unfriendly hello by the older lady cleaning, the older cook was reading the newspaper just stared at me like I wasn’t suppose to be there. I ordered my food, neither one of them washed their hands and just started bare grabbing my bagels & bacon. The whole experience was so unsettling. I went ahead paid for my food & tipped knowing that would be my last time ever going there.

Beachside is not the area to have the sideshow acts working. Find people with the best personalities & hygiene, pay them well, that store would be doing so much better & not completely empty. This isn’t Daytona, these two...
