Big Mike's Burgers — Restaurant in New Smyrna Beach

So this was my very first experience eating here and I can tell you that it was not that good.

Which I ordered the classic burger, a side of fries and a chocolate milkshake. 1st it was very expensive at $26 total (with a tip). Then the burger was big, but it was very dry, had no flavor/taste to it and it was very messy as well.

Then the fries didn't seem very hot and fresh at all, which in fact they were actually kind of hard and a little stale with no taste to them, other than the feeling of way too much salt put on them.

After that, the chocolate shake really lacked any flavor to the ice cream used, and it wasn't really that sweet at all either. Also, the shake was more liquidy and I was expecting it to be a thick type of milkshake (which I experienced this as soon as I got it in my hands from the cashier). So in fact, I actually had to go and put it in the freezer when I got home. After I did that, it did have a little bit more consistency and it wasn't liquidy, but it still wasn't that sweet and really didn't have any taste to it at all.

Lastly, they even got my easy simple name wrong as well. They put "JJ" as my name, when I told them that my name is "Jay" (which I'm surprised that they can get such a simple easy name wrong).

Overall, I would say that the only thing that they did good was have the food come out extremely fast. Other than that though, my overall experience was not that good and I honestly would not be coming back here anytime soon because of it. So I suggest that you save some money and go to Culver's. Because you can get a fresh double cheese burger, large fries, large drink, and a concrete ice cream with two mixins for under $20 (plus the food there has a much better taste and is always fresh).

P. S. This business with their response back to me, is more worried about the money that I paid for the food and had to personally attack me because I just gave them an honest review of the restaurant (while there's plenty of other reviews that state similar issues as mine). So that's one major reason as to why there's so many other bad reviews instead of just fixing their issues, the inconsistencies and just apologizing for at least getting my easy name wrong at minimum. Also, maybe you should be more worried about you're inconsistencies, your product coming out and it done correctly each and every time etc, rather than you attacking the customer for just for giving you guys a 100% blatantly honest review of my personal experience (which is completely unprofessional). So maybe if you actually fix everything, then there wouldn't have me and other numerous people writing bad reviews (including with some of the same exact and similar issues along with talking about being...

I had to stop eating and write this review. I'm a local food spot junkie with a craving for street tacos, seafood and burger joints. I need to remember to write more reviews but with a busy life sometimes it's only the good or bad that stick out and remind me to review it. This burger joint right here though...you gotta go there. Yea this bars got good burgers or that place is good, but Big Mike's, hands down my new favorite burger spot. Just grabbed a a classic with no tomato, no lettuce, extra pickles. I like to get a feel for a burgers' taste without all the extra toppings to mask flavors. Just know this burger on a damn pretzel bun is right there up top at #2 on my favorite burger of all time. I dont even remember number #1 because I found it at a diner in the middle of Indiana while working construction. I have scoured Google maps trying to find that place. Service was excellent Very super friendly and nice The atmosphere was great except for the music was blaring so loud right where you place your order It made it very difficult to hear the other person talking.
