Read moreWinn-Dixie is a tanish white color. The sign is red and the roofing is a orangish brown color. When i entered this fortress i came in through the no entry door. No one seemed to mind this rule breaking. As i came in an announcement was made on the intercom; "fresh baked pies on sale now." I looked to my right. I saw a heap of pies which i quickly realized were not fresh baked on account that they were cold. I then proceeded to find English Breakfast Tea. I had heard that this was the only place i could find this tea. Frankly i don't believe that. After 10 or more minutes i found the tea. As i walked to the register to check out a kid, probably about 10 years old ran past me with a cart and bumped into me. I was slightly annoyed with this. I decided to go into register 7 because it was empty. I was happy to be at register 7 because that is my lucky number. A young man by the name of Daniel scanned my tea. At least i think that was what his name tag said because the i and the e had worn off: spelling "Dan l". " That's 7.68" Said Daniel in a monotone voice. I thought that that was a lot for one small box of tea but i swiped my card and took my stuff. When i exited, i made a point to go out of the exit door to make up for going out the wrong door on my way in. Overall i rate this grocery store 3 stars because it...
Read moreWin Dixie you have got to step up your game. My family shops there at least once a week and recently, every time we shop there it’s horrible. Always out of something, your deli staff is horrible. The only deli staff that was good was the gentleman that recently worked there, with glasses. I believe his name was Rob who I assume is no longer there as we have not seen him. All the cashiers are great. Very polite and work hard. Today, my husband went in to grab some things, while there he grabbed a case of Yuengling beer. He didn’t notice until he was loading the groceries in the car that the case of beer sounded funny. He opened the case and 2 beers were broken. I understand it’s probably not Win Dixie’s fault however when he walked back in the store to try and exchange there was NO manager in site. He was behind multiple people at customer service and it took multiple cashiers to make an announcement, four different times and no manager appeared. My husband ended up leaving without replacing the beer because it wasn’t worth the hassle. If that was Publix, there would have been zero wait and they probably would’ve given him a new case of beer...
