Family and friends have been customers for many years. Both portions and quality of service have taken a nose-dive. The last 2 visits, our order was misplaced, only to be checked and then the wrong delivery of items ordered anyways -- a wait-time of over 15 minutes, maybe longer if we had checked in, as per has our order be misplaced or forgotten? The chocolate cone was at barely a half-scoop that dropped down into the waffle cone. Wrong order on the Fudge Sunday of choice on both occasions. And no apologies offered , not even a smile or a grunt; just here it is...Perhaps it's the youth these days, not all, but enough to make a difference, seemingly more interested at putting in time, rather than attention to detail and customer satisfaction. Having worked in sales, customer service and training for over 2 decades for successful enterprises, I believe that perception is becoming a reality -- too many young ones just don't get it -- good business is a good business does -- attitude, consistency, actions -- and don't forget smile. However, my debit card wasn't in my wallet. I asked the cashier,"same one who took my order," if she still had my debit card. She said no. So I bought the 2 milkshakes with cash. I proceeded to tear apart my car for a half hour looking for my debit card. I go back to a different cashier this time and ask if she has my debit card. She says yes, and then States that the previous cashier lied and knew she had my debit card. Worst part is, she had the nerve to try and be cute about the situation. Like it was no big deal they just attempted to steel from me, and that I wasted a half hour in a panic looking for my debut card. Bruster's Real Ice Cream keeps getting better with every visit I make. Their ice cream alone is delicious and is the only thing I ever order. I overthink stuff and worry that if I order toppings or specialty items, I won't be able to taste the ice cream...my whole reason for going.
