My appt was at 2200 but I showed up at 0800 to see if I could get unloaded early. Guard was really nice but he said I would have to come back for my appt. He advised I come check in around 1700 or 1800.
(I ended up staying at the Sheets across the street. Very nice truck stop with a dozen XL spots and plenty of room for more curb parking.)
I checked in at 1900. Told to go park in staging area and wait for call. They start receiving at 2200. Parked in staging and glad we were there earlier because the later it got the more trucks were rolling in. We got a call right at 2200 with a door assignment. They must have called a dozen trucks at the same time. It’s all good not every truck was going to the same area but there was a lot of traffic. Most doors were still open and plenty of room to get in before they really started packing them in. Out the door with bills at 2345. Very fast and efficient...

I was told I had to go to the truck stop and wait until at least 1500 to come back. I don't know what kind of priority they use when you check in because they have you go wait in the staging area and there were already at least 20 trucks there when I parked and yet I was one of the first people called and put into a door. They apparently don't have a consistent starting time because the girl told me that they start unloading around 2100 or 2200. When they do finally put you in a dock, they do everybody at the same time. This is what I'm talking about when I say they don't respect drivers. They want us all waiting for them so that their time isn't wasted. They also don't have any facilities except for a porta potty. I'm...

Drive over to guard shack that’s near fuel island and check in. (Continue straight, go past fuel island and you’ll see guard shack) If it’s your first time here, the guard will show you on a map where to go and an instruction paper.
I arrived at 7pm for my 11:59pm appointment, drove over to the staging area and waited. 12:50am, I got a call for a dock door. Open trailer doors, slide tandems to rear, backed into door. 3am, I got a text for lumper fee. 4am, a final text saying “Your bill of lading is now ready to be picked up. Please do not pull out of door and walk in to get your bills. Thank you for using Capstone Logistics as your unloading service.” Got my bills...
