I'm pretty disappointed with this place. Despite the really high reviews the chicken was pretty average. Definitely could use more sauce. I ordered the party box and the fries were really sad, like shoe string fries from super market freezer sad. The rice cake and the tater tots had a freezer burn taste.
The only standout thing was the snow cheese chicken which we really enjoyed, has a pretty unique coconut cheesy flavor.
The biggest negative and why I'm giving the service one star are the fake promotions from their opening. They state that if you spend over$25 dollars you'd get a free bubble tea and when I called in my order, they verified that we would get one free bubble tea. However when I came in to pick up my food there was no bubble tea and I asked about it. The lady at the front said no bubble tea and I pointed at the promotion which was in plain sight (albeit in Chinese) she denied it and said it was for opening only. Why do you post expired promotional posters on your restaurant and why do you lack accountability when I reminded her that on the phone the lady said they will give us a free bubble tea. Very disappointing and terrible service with no regard for customers with a very valid complaint.

Read moreI had the pleasure of visiting @mdfriedchicken with my family. This is the latest addition to Brooklyn's vibrant food scene, located at 806 54th Street. Fried Chicken specializes in Asian-style fried chicken fast food, and it did not disappoint! The chicken was seasoned to perfection—juicy and tender with a satisfying crunch. My favorite flavors were Soy Garlic and Snow Cheese, both of which highlighted the delicious dark meat, my personal favorite.
Here's what we indulged in during our visit:
Chicken Party Box: Perfect for those who want to sample everything! It includes 2 drumsticks, 6 wings, 6 nuggets, fries, and tots. You can mix and match flavors, choosing from Original Olive, Soy Garlic, Snow Cheese, Spicy, or Swicy (sweet and spicy).
MD Chicken Sandwich Combo: A must-try for any sandwich lover!
Mix and Match 2 Flavor Wings: We chose Soy Garlic and Snow Cheese, and they were a hit.
Tteokbokki and Kimchi Fried Rice: These flavorful sides perfectly complemented our chicken feast.
If you're in Brooklyn and craving some amazing fried chicken, I highly recommend stopping...
Read moreSuper packed spot on a side street! It's connected to a coffee shop window and a boba spot. We waited ~40 min for our order to be ready on a Sunday afternoon. Maybe ours was made-to-order and/or how busy they were. The food itself is not bad! Not the healthiest, but this spot is an indulgence for sure. They shine with their Fried Chicken Wings. The Snow Cheese flavor is surprisingly not bad - it tastes like sweet parm. Their Fries are definitely fried in the same oil as the chicken wings, which gave it a nice flavor! I didn't love their Tteokbokki nor Kimchi Fried Rice, but given that this spot is take out, the flavors are as such. The Kimchi Fried Rice was missing something I can't quite put my finger on. Overall, not a bad spot for a quick, casual bite, but expect to wait if you...
