4am Bar — Restaurant in New York

The manager tried to charge us $20 a drink for 3 drinks .. when the FIRST bartender that served us charged us $14 a drink. Me and my cousin paid the FIRST bartender our tab for our 2 DRINKS that costed $32 (which she told us the drinks was $14 each .. then the second bartender which they claimed was the (manager) we ordered 3 drinks from them and the she charged us $60 dollars for 3 drinks? Make it make sense !! 3 drinks for $60. Who charged $20 a drink ?? LETS BE REAL ! Not even in the city they don’t charge $20 for each drink !! They charged me for an extra drink that I didn’t even have ! They threatened to call the cops if we didn’t pay !! I showed them recipes and all .. even the SECURITY GAURD SAID THAT THE BARTENDER THAT SERVED US THE FIRST TIME WAS IN THR WRONG. We explained that to the manager and she still did not CARE. I’ve been going to bars for the past 10 years .. you telling me that a jack Daniel with coke is $20? Y’all let’s be real. We asked them to show the footage on the security camera they refused…. We had 5 drinks in total .. 2 of the drinks which we had already paid with the first bartender that charged us $14 for each drink … do the math .. that was $28 dollar I gave her $40 .. She gave me back the change .. boom I got the receipt for that right now … now the second bartender (the manager) we got 3 drinks from her .. she said it was $20 each …. So why your employee said it was $14 … so whose to blame ?? Right. Ohh and let’s not forget you was talking to your other customers about what was going on and letting them know what’s happening… real professional .. 😅 crazy thing is I was going to celebrate my birthday...

I should have read the reviews before I came but I seen this on TikTok, I was to impulsive. The security guard was nice I can say that, we walked in and somebody random (I wasn’t aware she worked there because no uniform) she pointed to a table in the middle and said we could sit there, we did, it was only 1 chair though, I found another one I pulled up. It took about 15 minutes until my best friend had to ask somebody walking around for a menu, we were given ONE menu 🙄; okay….after reviewing menu my best friend had to find a person to take our orders. The man that came was okay , so he took our order , we got maple honey jerk wings (7/10) and Rasta pasta (8/10), we ordered lemon drops for drinks, he came back like “we are out of lemon drops”. I’m a bartender myself so HOW YOU RUN OUT OF LEMON DROPS?????? so we order the menu cocktail pink lady which has lemon juice in it listed on menu but we can’t get lemons drops? Odd but ok lol. The drinks come, they were about a 5/10, it gave “I just make anything”. The server was okay, he seem to didn’t know much and was going with the vibe of things which isn’t bad but ok. The dj was super cool and a vibe, but the music was overly loud couldn’t hear the server or my best friend talk. Idk I prob wouldn’t go back my bill was $96.66 for the food listed above and 2 drinks. 20% gratuity OK COOL but the prices just gave “we made them up and high because why not” it wasn’t worth...

Definitely wouldn’t recommend… came here with a friend just us two the first time on a Saturday. We were told booths are only for party of 3 or more. Even though we had ordered an abundance of food they squeezed us in the center which is an unusual spot. Asked to wipe the table 2x no luck . The food I would say was delicious and also the reason I came back ! ( the bill was around $250 for just us 2). This time it was 6 of us on a Friday night almost midnight and 3 booths were empty ! The host told us we couldn’t sit at a booth unless we bought a bottle which was 250$ , I told him all 6 of us were going to order food some drinks but no bottle . He said he couldn’t help us . We decided to leave but 2 of us still ordered food to go . When I tell you we waited almost 2 hours for food and the order was soooooo disappointing the calamari was not fried all the way they were greasy and soggy and the salmon w/pasta very dry barely any sauce. The wings were the only decent thing . The “ owner “ came out asked what happened she explained that we should have been seated regardless . I told her we all came to order food ,someone in our party was expecting as well so we didn’t require a bottle. She then offered free shots on her for NEXT time …after a large bill horrible service and crazy wait time …. For a free shot next time would require me to come back … no thank you . Trust take your money elsewhere where service is...
