Westlab + Gallery — Attraction in New York

Ive been going here consistently for close to a year now, and my experience has been nothing short of amazing. Personable, efficient, and welcoming to start. I've been getting developing + scans and the quality has always been perfect. Westlab offers multiple scan qualities with different price points, all of which are very reasonable as I've gone to almost all of the labs in nyc, and the prices are very consistent with every other lab, but this spot is in the heart of Bushwick! He is very communicative about the time of which your turnaround will be (which I've received scans HOURS after business hours, meaning he is working long into the night to get his customers their photos as fast as possible) and is very clear about his policy with holding negatives. Simply put, Westlab is the best. Their turnaround times are quick, communication is great, and their staff are extremely knowledgeable. Service is always friendly and I learn something new every time I come in to see Shri.

Some photolabs can be condescending and intimidating for newcomers, you will find NONE of this at Westlab. All staff are extremely welcoming, personable, and always willing to give advice.

My only gripe is that hours of operation are a little funky, in general though Westlab is the best...

They’re great! This lab is super convenient for me in Bushwick and they always take good care of your film. Turnaround time is great as well I swear they never stop working! I’ve gotten some rolls back same day - not sure I’d count on that but it should give you some idea of the effort they put in.
