RISK Gallery & Boutique — Attraction in New York

In the heart of bushwick, I’ve come across one of, honestly, the most beautiful and magical spaces I’ve ever seen! It has the best combination of art, fashion & more! There’s everything from vintage to new designers who are all emerging artists.. as an artist myself I absolutely love that and support small businesses who support artists. You can find literally anything, from a selection of homeware, petware, eyewear, bags, jewelry, shoes and clothes! It’s amazing! Whether it’s costume or every day wear, the store has everything organized by color which makes it helpful to find what you’re looking for. I was looking for an outfit for pride this year to wear to work and I found my dream come true with an outfit that was practical and still expressive. Walking into Risk is an experience, not unlike Alice falling down the rabbithole or Lucy entering the wardrobe into Narnia. I found it completely by accident, and immediately found a fantasy world of vintage and local artist clothes and accessories. It is a vibrant cacophony of colors, with the clothes organized by shade, and even after three rounds around the store, I was still finding new pieces. But all of that is nothing to the true magic of the store--which employees that truly care about you finding your beauty. You will try on things you never thought would work for you, be prepared for wine and an impromptu dance party as you show off your new look, but most of all--prepare for a lot of laughter and love. I live up the block from Risk Boutique, Since the very first day the store has been there, Lindsy the owner has been so friendly, thoughtful, generous and kind. She has been so welcoming! My 8 year old Daughter Adores her cause she will take the time out to play with her. We LOVE going in the store cause it’s absolutely Beautiful!!! There is no other store like this!
