Just had knee surgery, so I ordered a salad on UE under the name Anthony's Famous Salad Bar. Of course I knew it was a deli, this is how they get us. This was the worst salad I've ever had. The greens were old and withered and wet and tasted just like dirt. You can tell they didn't wash them. The tomatoes were mushy. They're passing off pepitas (green pumpkin seeds) as sunflower seeds. They gave about a teaspoon of dressing and it tasted like spoiled mayonnaise. Will never get so much as a candy bar from here again. Notice the dark green mushy leaves and pumpkin seeds in the Pic

BEST SANDWICH!!!! This was my first time ordering from here and I wasnā€™t disappointed! This place knows how to make a mean sandwich. GREAT portions!!!!! The meat and produce is fresh! The bread was perfect, not too hard and not too soft. I love sandwiches and Iā€™ve been to quite a few places around town and have been disappointed. Now that Iā€™ve found this place, Iā€™m a forever customer! I ordered the Italian. I highly recommend this place! You wonā€™t be disappointed. This place is a Diamond in the rough Bronx.

This is the BEST deli I've been to located at E. Gunhill RD, in my opinion. The food is always fresh with a plethora of options to choose from. There is also a huge variety of beverages and snacks. The staff are always super friendly and professional, and the store is ALWAYS clean. An added plus is that the store is open 24/7. I purchased my dinner from here last night. Went here for a simple Bacon, Egg n cheese breakfast sandwich. Sandwich came out delicious. Place was clean. Cashier named Mohammed was extremely nice and welcoming. He convinced me to get a cup of coffee claiming he had the best coffee. He definitely wasnā€™t lying. Coffee was absolutely delicious. Probably the best coffee that I ever had ā€œfrom a deliā€. Had a conversation with the cashier Mohammed. Very nice guy. I would definitely return and I would definitely recommend it to all. Very reasonably...
