okay this skatepark is awesome! especially for beginners but they need to put an age restriction (like 13+). if you go in the spring and fall while school is in session for kids it’s perfect but now that it’s the summer it’s overtaken by little kids playing tag and riding bikes all over the place without any regards to the other skaters. don’t get me wrong, skateboards, bikes, scooters, rollerskates+blades should all be there but only if they’re old enough to understand not to get in the way of others. PLEASE DO NOT LET YOUR KIDS PLAY HERE. there are literally two playgrounds in oval park for kids to have fun in. THE RAMPS ARE NOT SLIDES. THE RAIL ON THE STAIRS ARE DIRTY AND MEANT FOR TRICKS, NOT FOR YOUR KIDS TO SLIDE DOWN ON. don’t get mad when your kids get hurt...

Tagging is apart of skate culture and if “vandalism” is a concern for the community why provide a safe space for skaters to express themselves in the first place? Seems redundant and puts folks who show up at risk from inhaling those vapor fumes. A night cleaning at closing hour...
