I normally take a short drive to Yonkers to my regular sushi place but today I was babysitting and had no car seat. I was happy that their menu is online and prices are listed. I was glad that they have lunch prices on the weekend most places do not. I ordered over the phone and went in person to pick up. The female on the phone was rude and seemed bothered to repeat herself I can barely hear her the phone line had static. The food was ready as promised in 15 minutes paid and left. This place is more on the expensive side but the portions are bigger I gave 2 stars for the presentation of the food everything was nicely packed and looked delicious , now this is where they go down the food taste very bland I had chicken terryiak and it taste like nothing the spicy tuna rolls were not spicy and had no flakes. I was really disappointed especially since they overtax. So I had 2 lunch boxes and 1 lunch roll and 1 appetizer and it came out to 55 bucks, needless to say I will not be returning. My husband say the food was good but he thinks celery is amazing and he was happy that they put a lot of...

I have never felt the need to leave a negative review in my life, but this place deserves it. At first I ordered a salmon roll, Gyoza, and spicy seafood soup. The soup was advertised on their website has having mussel, scallop, shrimp, squid, and vegetables. Apparently the lack of plurals wasnt a mistake. I got 1 mussel, 1 (tiny) scallop, 2 (tiny) shimp and no squid at all. If it tasted good I wouldn't have complained, but it tasted water down so I called them and they offered store credit for more soup. Instead I just asked for another salmon sushi roll on the house (half the price of the soup I had already paid for) and I went and picked it up. On my second bite of my new sushi roll I bit into what I think is a fish bone, but is actually a STAPLE. A metal staple place underneath the seaweed. I worked in a restaurant for years, so I never complain. But it also means I know this doesn't happen after a customer complains unless it was done intentionally. This was inexcusable and...

My fiancé and I had a wonderfully scrumptious sushi/sashimi platter consisting of beautiful thick cut fresh assortment of fish. The fish was perfectly cool to the tongue and firm. The combination platter was served with miso soup as well as a salad. We washed down the exquisite platter by pairing the dish with an Asahi beer for me and a cool glass of chardonnay for her. The dining area consisted of a long stretched wall couch with tables and chairs to match and face the bench. Along the opposite wall were smartly matched tables for two. The quiet, conservative emporium made the dinner palatable and easy. I loved the asian art scattered along the wall to add to the artistic and classy ambiance. We both enjoyed our dinner and look forward to returning. The asian staff were remarkably soft and easy to engage with. Very polite, warm, and friendly....

This cozy Japanese Sushi restaurant is warm and welcoming. Located in the heart of Riverdale along the commercial corridor this establishment serves up fresh sushi and other dishes. We ordered a range of sushi which was filling and very tasty. There is not ambient music of any kind so you can hear the conversations of others close by which isn’t fun while you’re having dinner and trying to have your own conversation. Soda refills aren’t free and dinner for two can cost anywhere between $55 to $60 without any alcoholic beverages. If you’re craving sushi and want to stay in the neighborhood try out Aoyu Sushi. We award this establishment four stars for the lack of ambient music which will allow patrons to enjoy the dining experience

What a culinary delight! For so very long we overlooked this restaurant and finally decided to give them a try. We were not disappointed at all. The salad was fresh, colorful and crunchy. We had the basil filet mignon, shrimp/vegetable tempura, chicken teriyaki and rice both, brown and white— amazingly delicious food- we couldn’t stop with the mmmm, and yum! The tempura was great! The gyozas were stuffed with pork and they traveled well too. The eggplant miso was different for me, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. As for the black cod— my lease favorite. I would not have that again, everything else was top tier!
