Forget Manhattan’s overpriced sandwiches — this family joint’s been serving up massive subs for years, and they don’t mess around. The menu’s packed, but locals know the Chicken Lulu is where the magic happens. The owner was super friendly, he conversed with us while we waited for our sandwiches to be ready. Before we left, we also got some rainbow cookies and a Tiramisu panettone. The only downside was that it was very expensive. Everything cost us around $75. If we’re ever on the Island again we will be back for...
