Gen. Douglas MacArthur Park — Attraction in New York

Tucked away under the lights in the shadows of the Berry homes , this complex has been renovated recently . Kudos to the NYC parks dept. Baseball/Soccer fields are artificial soft turf. Football is also played here by 40 year olds who wear eye black and a backwards hat fantasizing of Tom Brady. Basketball courts are smooth and spectacular; a true street ball feel. General MacArthur Park is a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy nature. The park is beautifully maintained, with plenty of green space and walking paths. Great field. Dog friendly. Not too crowded as long as there isn't an event happening. We go mostly for your baseball games, good seating, good sights lines to batters. Negatives is that fields are angled to each other so if another team is playing, beware...
