So I want to note that I stepped out of the salon about 5 minutes ago, I have been to this facility twice before for trial/single eyelash extensions with John. Both times being amazing, John is very skilled and is very knowledgeable on his work. However this review isn't about him, I want to first start off with the facility itself is very clean and well put together. Everyone is wearing a mask and are divided between walls for privacy and social distancing. Temperatures and questionnaires taken upon walk-in. It has always been that way and continues to be that way during the high of a pandemic. I made a reservation with the receptionist on Saturday for Today with Annie for a lash lift and tint, originally she gave me Helen (who was my lash tech today) I needed a 6 pm, but was told Annie can only do 5:30 or 6:30 so I ended up changing what I had to do to be with Annie. A friend of mine told me she goes to her often and does great work which is why I wanted to see her. However when I get in today for my reservation, they told me I'm seeing Helen, I didn't want to be rude and I don't think I was, but Annie (who was sitting on the couch on her phone I believe) told me Helen would be great, I told them I had an appointment with Annie not Helen, then everyone continues to look at me like I have 50 heads and again assured me Helen would be great. I didn't want to make a scene so I went ahead with Helen. Helen as a person was very sweet, catering however during the service I was having product/dye/ chemicals all in my eye about 4-5 times. Helen took out the product as best she could, and mistakes happen but for it to happen more than twice even, that's a problem. My eyes were as red as can be and burned badly once I finally opened my eyes. Itchy too. During majority of the service I was in pain and I can endure pain. And told Helen when something really stung. Not to mention during the entire service I can hear Annie paying her credit bills on the couch. Upon checking out no one said a word to me, no apologies for the confusion about my appointment, the constant eye irritation. Nothing, I paid my $85 , tipped Helen and left. I don't want any compensation/discount but something said would've been ideal. I won't be...
Read moreI did eyebrow microblading October 8th with Annie. At first I was hesitant and scared to come and have my eyebrows done because it’s a permanent mark on your face. Walking in was very welcoming by her staff. Everyone is extremely friendly and very professional.
Annie spoke to me and explained everything I needed to know, she explained the process from beginning to end before starting anything at all, she even suggested to me what she thought would be a great fit for my face but also asked me questions to see what exactly I wanted. She started by mapping my eyebrows “Eyebrow mapping is the process of using facial angles and lines to create symmetrical brows that suit your eye shape and features.” She asked me to look at my brows and approve if that’s what I wanted, or if I want her to go thinner or thicker. It was perfect mapping so it created confidence that I needed to know that she was going to do a great job. She did my micro blading and it was the best decision I have ever made. I’m so glad I trusted in her work. Not only did she build my confidence but she also gained loyal customer. She is very educated in her work and explains as much as possible.
Today I went back for my touch up because my package included a free touch up!! I was praying that Annie will still have the positive attitude she had day 1 and to no surprise Annie was the same person, I was skeptical because I said to myself “omg this time I’m not paying because it was already included in the original price” will she treat me differently? NOPE.. she is amazing and such a humble person. once again she did amazing for the touch up and explained everything to me once again just in case. This was the best of the best!!!
Please note: 1st picture is before doing my eyebrows. 2nd is mapping process in October 3rd is leaving her place 4th the next day Last picture today after...
Read moreI have been a client of Annie’s for 12 years and I’m proud to say she lost me as a client as I wouldn’t want to give anymore of my money to such a selfish, rude, money hungry and unprofessional organization. I came in for an eyelash lift and tint and removal of my eyelash extensions. First and foremost I had to remove these extensions due to my ophthalmologist telling me my recent eye concerns were due to their glue so I needed to remove them and in order to substitute that look I decided to try a lift and tint. I was not informed of proper procedure, the entire time the “licensed” professional was quiet then after 1 1/2 hours I was finally done and looked in the mirror to what looked like ONLY my eyelashes were removed there was no significant difference of any kind and mind you this service was $85. $85 dollars to do what I could of done at home with eyelash extension remover and an eyelash curler from five below. I am never a person to complain and in the 12 years I have been there I have never complained, I was extremely unhappy and told Annie and she proceeded to talk over me and tell me my eyelashes were short and broken off. Mind you her salon put on the eyelash extensions prior and maybe if using proper technique my real lashes wouldnt be damaged and this type of information should be stipulated prior to services. In the 12 years I’ve been a client not a single Christmas gift was given but today it was but only to selective few. Be prepared to tip $50 and up to show any compassion or decent customer service. They’re money hungry and a discriminatory business, don’t give...
