Bake Culture — Restaurant in New York

This is the cutest little shop! We just so happened to be in the area and were looking for something sweet after lunch, to take home. This space is very small as it's inside of a grocery store, but it's extremely clean and nice. You also don't HAVE to go in through the store, there is another door directly from the outside.

Honestly, everything looked so good it was hard to pick. There's a display case where things like egg tarts are kept, and then shelves of baked goods as well. The menu has different types of hot and iced drinks. Everything is extremely well priced and worth it, in my opinion.

Due to some dietary restrictions, we didn't get quite as much as we wanted to- but maybe that's a good thing! These treats didn't last long at all. We grabbed a bag of milk toast ends, a pineapple bun, and a red bean bun. They were all delectable, I can't even begin to describe how good these sweets were. None of them had an overpowering sweetness, which is very appreciated. Perfectly blended, light and airy, moist and fluffy. It was all of the wonderful things you could ever want in a baked good.

Service was very good, the clerk was nice and she was efficient.

I cannot wait to return, already planning a trip back for...

Compare to Korean Bakery chain, they are not as good. Looks good enough to eat but tasting them are a different story. The wiped cream on the cake has an bitter after taste. Cake itself might have been few days old. Cakes don't seem as fresh as it should be (the strawberry in my strawberry cake was not fresh). For that kind of $$ price, I would rather spend on a Korean bakery Chain like Tour Le Jour or the Taiwanese bakery: Iris (both located in Main Street flushing). This bakery needs A LOT of room for improvement. If open inside a Chinese supermarket, please also have staff that speak Chinese, not everyone speaks English. Please also label all of your buns the ingredients use! Open for more than an hour, barely has much buns to...

The bread is fresh. The egg tart is excellent. I love it. So far, the egg tart is the best in the flushing area if you reheat it at home. However, if you eat it in their place, the egg tart always cold but still ok. Other place around main st downtown the egg tart is very smelly. I go there pretty often. The only thing i have to complain is the coffee, the taste is off sometimes. sometimes very good, sometimes so watery no taste. Like this morning, my husband complains the coffee is no taste but yesterday was so good. He asks me to write this review hope that they can improve the coffee quality. the bread always fresh...
