New Hidden Gem in Flushing, The best BBQ restaurant I have been recently!
the entire restaurant is wrapped in Labubu collectibles like some kind of luxury toy museum-meets-BBQ house. Who is this rich Labubu-obsessed owner, and where did they find such an amazing chef?
The food here is a fusion of Yanbian-style skewers and Northern Chinese comfort dishes, and honestly, everything we tried was either good or phenomenal. The standout? The Boiled Pork Belly with Sauerkraut and Glass Noodles. It was rich, hearty, and — no exaggeration — the most flavor-packed version I've had in all of Flushing. The pork was perfectly layered with fat and lean, and the tang from the sauerkraut seeped into every bite. It was deeply satisfying and felt like a hug in a bowl. The rotating skewers were also a hit: lamb, beef, chicken wings, and marbled beef. Each skewer was already marinated — flavorful from the inside out — and you finish them off with a sprinkle of dry spice powders: chili, cumin, or house-blend. The rotating grill ensures even cooking and faster results. Perfect for the impatient eater. We also tried the Red Sugar Glutinous Rice Cakes, and wow — they were next-level. Instead of dipping rice cakes into syrup, here the syrup explodes from the inside when you bite in. Crispy outside, molten sweetness inside. Genius. Other must-tries: the Teppan Squid (surprisingly tender and tasty), Stir-fried Pork Intestines (rich and aromatic, especially if you like umami-heavy dishes), and the Water-Boiled Beef — tender slices in a fragrant, slightly numbing broth that pairs perfectly with rice. Even the veggies shine: the Garlic Pea Shoots were wok-fried to that perfect Cantonese-style sear. Who knew a plate of greens could be this addictive? Final verdict? Big portions, bold flavors, and a vibe that’s both playful and premium. This place is perfect for group dinners, family meals, or anyone hunting for that...
Read moreNice atmosphere. It’s new so very clean inside. The food is average. The seafood pancake is very thick and didn’t see any seafood besides 2 tiny mussels. Cold noodle is pretty good. The bbq sticks were ok. You order through an iPad. The steam dumplings were marked as unavailable on the iPad. Then I saw another table had it and when I asked they said they have it now. Overall OK food, nice atmosphere, nice waiters but not much service...
Read moreCame here with a friend and had an amazing time. We tried the beef, lamb, and pork belly skewers in the bbq rotating machine— each one was perfectly seasoned, tender, and grilled to smoky perfection. The lamb especially had that classic cumin flavor you’d expect from authentic Chinese street BBQ. Great vibes, fast service, and delicious food. Definitely a go-to spot if you’re craving real-deal Chinese BBQ...
