Bella Beans Cafe — Restaurant in New York

I brought some of my students here as an end-of-year celebration and Mr. Beans and his family treated them like celebs! This charming gem of the neighborhood makes everyone feel like a cherished family member. I couldn’t be more grateful for John’s generosity and for sharing instructional anecdotes in a way that encourages kids to pursue their life dreams as he did his. We had a blast and absolutely loved our desserts and frosty drinks! Thank you for the memories you helped us make! I want to add that I've gone here many times since I wrote that first review and just discovered probably the best coffee treat EVER--I think it was called a pistachio latte--maybe an horchata--made by such a nice young woman named Eylul. This is my favorite coffee shop in the world--try the anisette...

Update: after living in this neighborhood for over a year I could say this is our best coffee & dessert spot. The best in bay street! Open early to provide great coffee to the working community, and open every day until late! They have a great Iced Crema coffee that will power you through a hot summer working day and delicious espresso to be poured on their homemade ice cream. The seating outside is perfect, especially in the afternoon you can get a nice Sun bath while enjoying cafe.

1st review: Cute local spot for coffee. It is nice to see the locals sitting outside and hanging out and that Bella Beans offers them a place to create a community. I have been here 3 times but would have to come back again to taste other types of brews...

A cute pastry and coffee shop, that opened on the Valentine's Day 2021 no less! New guys on the block and oh, do they rock. It's small, cozy and clean. We got a carrot cake slice, which was like a piece of heaven on a plate, a Nocciola cake bar and a berry crumble, both delicious. The aroma of coffee hits you as soon as you open the door, didn't get a chance to try it this time, but I am planning to get a good look at their beverage menu next time I go there for a slice of carrot cake. And they have Gelato ❤, we tried peanut butter chocolate one, which was very good. I am definitely going back there to try everything...
