Convenient Food Mart — Local services in New York

I don't know where to start but I guess we can start with the employees that are cooking have no hats or hair nets on. One of the emplovees that cooks in the back came from outside, smoking a cigarette and did not wash his hands and begin to cook. We can also talk about the skimpy overprice sandwiches that they provide. I recently went and got two drinks a bag of chips, beef patty, and a roll and got charged $28. If the food was great, I would not mind paying the price but for you to ask them to put more than three slices of meat on a sandwich that cost nine dollars is ridiculous. Then the woman at the register arguing back-and-forth with me is truly unprofessional. As well as the cold cuts that are not wrapped in plastic wrap after use. Easily one of my favorite delis And corner store in the history of all delis and corner store. Located on the corner of Hyland Blvd and Tompkins Avenue it is one of the busiest intersections on Staten Island and makes for a convenient location no pun intended. I LOVE the cheese empimadas here as they are the best cheese empimadas I have ever consumed in my entire life. This deli provides excellent service as well as provides a high quality product when talking about anything from or behind the deli counter. They make FANTASTIC sandwiches, and hot plates. They accept food stamps, cash and credit/debit for payment and they provide NYS Lotto, which might I add that they have a small selection behind the counter BUT they have two separate NYS Lotto scratch off machines which are regularly filled and often see winners. 5 stars EASILY I would give them...

I was overcharged for all of my items and requested an itemized receipt, but was given a printout with no breakdown. After checking the total in my car, I realized the math didn’t add up and returned to ask for a refund. The cashier eventually refunded me, but claimed he had given me a discount on a $9 egg and cheese sandwich, which was still overpriced. This lack of transparency and integrity is unacceptable.
