Bagels are good. Staff is friendly when chit chatting but if you call to let them know the order wasn't what you asked for, they get too defensive. I wanted to know the price of each item to determine if they forgot to include an item but still charged me for it, or they just didn't hear the item when ordered and didn't charge me for it. Well the response was just come down and we will fix it. Like I have all the time in the world to drive back 2 miles for their screwup. I repeated the request for prices and they reluctantly replied. Turns out they charged me for the item but never included it on the bagel. I would gladly have reminded them the next time but because of the way it was handled on the phone, I will not be going back.

The flavor of the bagels are good, but they are mostly undercooked, that along with the attitude when they screw up, is the reason for a deduction of 2 stars from the rating.

The prior owner, who was a former cop, was a much friendlier person and his bagels were so much better and cooked, not raw like half the bagels are now. Sometimes a nice gesture goes a long way. When someone messes up you own up to it, even if you are maybe in the right, take the name and offer a credit for next time. What you don't do is to insist the person come back so you can discuss it in person and act like you couldn't be at fault or if you are at fault, so what, these things happen (which they do). Offer the credit over the phone and leave it at that. I was a long time customer. What a shame as they lost...

Ive been coming here for years. Usually on Sunday mornings. My wife usually heads in with my daughter for breakfast. When family comes over i usually spoil them with bagels on the bay. Today i went in ordered 3 egg plain bagel. I was given 3 everything bagels. Simple mistake. But to the older gentleman in the glasses it wasn't. It was the end of the world. He told me he shouldn't take them back because i “touched” them and he shouldn't replace them, he knows I ordered everything bagels.” It’s a shame cause i really enjoy coming in with my daughter and wife. Their breakfast is amazing not taking that away. But the employee was extremely disrespectful and i cannot support that. All the workers here usually amazing. Such a shame all this...

Walk into this fine establishment on any given morning, and you will be greeted by the smell of bagels, baked fresh on the premises. You will also notice that everything — from the floor, to the meats, cream cheeses, and lunch items, are meticulously displayed. You could eat off the floor here. That is saying a whole lot. But it is not nearly the whole story— everyone who comes in here gets greeted as a neighbor. Most have a story or two to impart to the guys behind the counter. And these guys are listeners.
