My recent experience co-hosting a baby shower at Mello Bistro was nothing short of exceptional. This charming family run restaurant exceeded all expectations, making the special occasion unforgettable.

The back private room we reserved for the event was simply beautiful. It exuded an ambiance of elegance and sophistication, setting the perfect stage for our baby shower celebration. The decor in the room was very trendy and cozy.

What truly stood out during our party was the chef's unwavering commitment to ensuring every dish met our expectations. Not only was the chef friendly and approachable, but he also took the time to understand our preferences and made sure to accommodate my dietary requirements. The result was a culinary masterpiece that left everyone at the table in awe. Each dish was not only visually appealing but also a burst of incredible flavors. Kudos to the chef for his dedication to perfection.

The staff at Mello Bistro were equally remarkable. Their attentiveness and professionalism were on full display throughout the event. From coordinating the setup of the private room to serving the delightful food and beverages, the staff members demonstrated an exceptional level of care and dedication. Their warm and accommodating approach made our guests feel truly valued.

In summary, I cannot recommend Mello Bistro highly enough as a venue for special events and for a dining experience. And I cannot say enough praise towards the Chef, his wife, and the entire staff!

My husband and I lived in Rosebank for most of our lives and to be honest we are so happy Mello Bistro opened. We’ve been here for brunch and it was amazing. But the dinner.. to die for. Zu and Leo were amazing. Their customer service was on point.. from when we walked in until we left. We started with sangria which you can tell Zu made with love. We started with the French onion soup and ceasar salad. For dinner we had the stuffed pork chop and the short ribs and all I can say is..you will not be disappointed!! The BEST we have ever had. The chef came out to ask us and other tables how the food came out which was delightful. Not only for us to share how much we enjoyed the food but also pleasant to know that he wanted to ensure we enjoyed it as well. We were so full that unfortunately we couldn’t make it to dessert, but we finished off with an espresso martini. It’s hard to find a good espresso martini. Some restaurants I go to.. you can tell they use coffee because it’s watered down.. not this martini. We took my mom here for her birthday and we had a wonderful time. To start, the food was amazing, everything we had was phenomenal. Octopus and tuna appetizers were so fresh and tasty. Calamari was perfectly cooked, and the marinara dipping sauce it came with was soooo good. Not many places have a good marinara sauce. Buffalo burrata appetizer was delicious, the basil infused oil was a beautiful touch. Onto the main course, the chicken parmigiana had the perfect crispy breading and delicious creamy vodka sauce, 10/10. My mom had the duck al’orange which she loved!! Mello penne vodka was really good too! Dessert just topped off this amazing meal, crème brûlée, Panna cotta, and chocolate cake were equally delicious and was a fantastic end to a wonderful meal.
