Great place to stop before heading to Central Park. As a tourist, I wanted to have a bagel breakfast sandwich that was tasty and filling. So glad I stopped by, great selection of bread and bagels are huge. Fresh eggs, lots of crunchy bacon and American cheese made this bagel breakfast sandwich the perfect one before a long walk. Staff is friendly and very efficient, will definitely come back when I return to NYC! I went there early AM and lots of local workers were ordering (apparently the chicken cutlet sandwich is popular!) ; this is a good sign that the price is not too high and the food is great. Lots of tables and chairs + a large variety of groceries.

Went here on 2 separate occasions. I ordered sandwiches both times. The first time I took the sandwich to go, open it at my office and it's missing all the toppings. It only had bread and chicken, REALLY? Had to go back to get it filled with the toppings. Second time I had the sandwich in the store. I ordered a grilled chicken ceaser sandwich, comes with bacon, avocado, and ranch dressing. Well let me tell you.... The sandwich was put together like a 5 year old had done it, I asked for crispy bacon ( that didn't happen), and the chicken was chewey. In the garbage it went. Maybe their buffet is good, but will not go back again regardless.

We randomly stopped in here yesterday on our way to Central Park to walk to The Met. The hot and cold bars were fantastic. The roasted carrot and arugula salad was my favorite. My wife enjoyed fried chicken and a cold pasta salad. The sliced fresh fruit from the bar was spectacularly flavorful and fresh. The man who checked us out was kind and very hospitable - he made sure we had everything we needed to dine in. Thank you!

The buffet section is my main reason for coming here. They have an ecclectic, well prepared, and tasty selection of foounds available for about 6.99/lb. It's not cheap but it's a little cheaper than whole foods and more mainstream (as opposed to Middle Eastern-focused).

My favorite items come from the comfort food available, but the cold barhas all of your healthy options like fruit, seafood & salads, raosted veggies, dessert etc. Like any buffet, YMMV depending on if you load up on the "expensive" items or fill your box up with rice ;P also, i've never gotten sick here LOL i am a big fan of buffets, and this is a convenient and relatively inexpensive way to get a nutritionally varied meal near Columbus Circle, Hell's Kitchen or...
