Their bagels are flat. The toast method is with a panini press which makes it even flatter. I ordered an everything bagel toasted with butter and a coffee. The bagels taste more like flavored bread than bagel. It might have been a better choice to call this place "Brooklyn Sandwiches". Average coffee (hot only) Cost before tax: $2.75 Toasted butter bagel This price includes plain, everything, sesame bagel. Additional $1-2 for any special bagel i.e. multigrain / flagel $4.75 Bagel and cream cheese with vegetables Standard bagel choices (refer above) and plain cream cheese. Flavored cream cheese is an additional $0.75. There is no reduced pricing for just a plain bagel with cream cheese which should at most cost $4 considering bagel quality. $1.75-$2.75 Hot self serve drip 12/16 ounces Ordering is with a computer screen, but they face the sun so difficult to see. In summary, a difficult underwhelming experience for someone who is looking for a simple bagel with cream cheese and a cup of coffee.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Brooklyn Bagels Pastries in Williamsburg, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by the warm aroma of freshly baked goods and the friendly smiles of the staff. The selection of bagels and pastries was impressive, with a wide variety to choose from. Whether you're a fan of classic flavors or looking to try something new and adventurous, they have something for everyone. Each item was made with care and attention to detail, resulting in flavors that were simply divine. Not only were the bagels and pastries delicious, but the service was also top-notch. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience for every customer. Overall, I highly recommend Brooklyn Bagels Pastries to anyone in the area or visiting Williamsburg. It's the perfect spot to grab a quick bite or enjoy a leisurely breakfast. I'll definitely be returning to sample more of their tasty treats!

Not a place for vegans🍃🚫 I got their avocado toast that was pictured pretty nicely but rang up at $12. I was visiting for the day with two others, non vegan. They enjoyed their food, but my experience was subpar at best. I was given two pieces of cold slightly toasted (or possibly stale it was hard to tell) with mushed avocado. It’s advertised as having sprouts tomato radish and other fixings and served on what looks to be sliced bread rather than the smashed roll it came on. I quickly caught the waiter who returned it to the kitchen to get “fixed” which just meant the toast would get colder and the chef added onions, tomatoes, and like two slices of radish . It was alright but not at all worth $12. Sorry!!

I am not the type to ask for a refund for food. In fact I made it 35 years on this earth without ever doing so, that is until I went to Brooklyn Bagel in South Williamsburg. To top it off, the manager only pretended to refund my credit card. He deceivingly never submitted the refund.

I ordered the lasagna and an açaí bowl, about FORTY DOLLARS! I expected some damn good lasagna and açaí for this price.

They served the food. Well, if you like grease as the main ingredient, you'll love this place. It was literally a $22+ bowl of grease soup. Not much more to say.

The açaí was 100% melted and tasted like no other açaí bowl I have ever had, and I have had MANY açaí bowls - good and mediocre. This is the only açaí bowl where the actual flavor was bad. Let me be clear, I don't like overly sweet things, but this lacked any sort of sugar and tasted like medicine. And again, it was warm, another bowl of garbage soup.

Considering the outlandish price I paid, I decided to ask for a refund. In short, the manager was extremely rude and told me "you must have never had açaí bowls before" when I told him what was wrong. He also previously told my friend that it wasn't technically a restaurant and so he wasn't required to serve my friend a glass of ice water. Friend had to purchase a bottle of water.

And again, the deceiving manager PRETENDED to refund me. It wasn't until weeks later when looking at my credit card statement did I realize he never submitted a refund. And I stupidly didn't ask for a paper receipt.

The people that run this are in it for the wrong reasons and it's...
