As a long-time fan of the Brooklyn Cyclones baseball team, it is disheartening to witness the disappearance of one of the key ingredients that made attending their games an unforgettable experience. The absence of Coney Island Brewery has left a void in the atmosphere, jeopardizing the future enjoyment of loyal fans. This review seeks to shed light on the impact of Coney Island Brewery's departure and the necessity for the Cyclones to prioritize the preservation of this beloved brewery for the sake of their dedicated baseball enthusiasts.
The Magic of Coney Island Brewery: The presence of Coney Island Brewery at the Brooklyn Cyclones' games added an unparalleled element of excitement and enjoyment. The delightful combination of great baseball and locally brewed craft beer created an ambiance that was unique to the team. It served as a gathering place for fans to connect, cheer for their favorite team, and savor the flavors of Brooklyn.
An Integral Part of the Experience: Coney Island Brewery was not just another vendor within the stadium; it was embedded in the fabric of the Cyclones' game-day tradition. For many fans, grabbing a cold brew from the brewery and watching the game became synonymous. The loss of this iconic Brooklyn establishment has disrupted the essence of what it means to be a Brooklyn Cyclones fan.
Impact on Attendance: Without Coney Island Brewery, the allure and draw of attending Cyclones' games have undeniably diminished. Many loyal fans, including myself, are left questioning whether the same level of enjoyment can be experienced without this beloved feature. The fear is that a significant portion of the fan base will gradually withdraw, resulting in dwindling attendance numbers and a loss of the vibrant atmosphere that once thrived within MCU Park.
The Cyclones' Responsibility: To salvage the dwindling attendance and revive the lost magic, it is imperative for the Brooklyn Cyclones organization to prioritize the preservation of Coney Island Brewery. The team should work towards reinstating this iconic brewery within the stadium premises, ensuring that all future games are accompanied by the distinctive flavors and camaraderie it brought.
The absence of Coney Island Brewery has undeniably impacted the enjoyment and appeal of Brooklyn Cyclone's games. As fans, we must express our concerns and urge the team's management to prioritize the restoration of this beloved establishment. It is in the team's best interest to swiftly solve this issue and reunite fans with the authentic experience they have come to know and love. Let us hope that the Brooklyn Cyclones organization recognizes the value of Coney Island Brewery and takes necessary action to save it for the sake of their loyal baseball...

My family and I love going to Cyclones' games. During one of them, we were enticed to enter a raffle, and a couple of weeks later we receive a call to tell us we have won "a 3-day trip to Vegas or Orlando, or a week stay anywhere in the world". To get our prize, we had to sit for a timeshare presentation at the Flagship Resort in Atlantic City. We've heard of people going on vacations that have this a stipulation, so we gave it a go.
We sat for this presentation for THREE HOURS (if you ignore the 5 hour drive from NYC to AC, which I don't, because FIVE HOURS), and we were then given the brochure with a $50 Visa Card and our "prize", managed by a third party "travel agency", Monster Reservations Group.
Since we had time to kill on the drive back, we began reading the Terms and Conditions, and we got suspicious when we realized that to access our prize we had to "activate our package" with a non-refundable fee of $150, when the email they sent us clearly stated we didn't have to spend any money to get our gift. Then we had the great idea of googling this company before spending any money, only to find out they thrive on selling cheap package deals you cannot cancel, reschedule, or get back; that you are spending your vacations exclusively at timeshares; that you're signing the fine print that states you have to purchase a certain amount of packages a year that you WILL be charged for regardless if you use them or not; all with the perks of escalating hidden fees. If you have the time and curiosity to fall on this rabbit hole, simply google "Monster Reservations Group reddit" (and a side note of how truly sorry we are some people are still dealing with these scammers to this day).
We're extremely disappointed that the Cyclones would allow for such exploitive businesses to prey on the attendees to their games. We had the presence of mind to research before falling for their scam but we see how easy it would be to fall for something like this. Truly...
Read moreI recently took my school on a trip to see the Brooklyn Cyclones and the experience was deeply frustrating and poorly managed from start to finish.
First off, our seats were double-booked, and instead of a quick resolution, we were met with confusion and unhelpful staff who offered no alternative. Not ideal when you’ve paid for a specific experience.
Our group included students and teachers who were supposed to be seated together, but we were scattered across different sections with no effort from staff to help us regroup. It took away from what should’ve been a fun, unified outing.
The concession situation was another mess. Lines were outrageously long, and to make things worse, several stands weren’t even open. With so few options available and so many people in line, getting a simple snack felt like a marathon.
Parking was another headache. There was virtually none available near the stadium, and we weren’t given any guidance or support on alternatives, which made arriving on time even harder. Construction outside the ballpark made it extremely difficult for buses to drop off and pick up. It was also very dangerous for students to be walking in the street as construction was happening.
Perhaps most disappointing was the staff’s attitude. Any issues we raised were met with dismissiveness, and in some cases, outright rudeness. Instead of trying to fix the problems, they made us feel like we were the inconvenience. When I reached out after the game, Michael, the Director of Ticket Sales was very dismissive of my complaints and basically told me what I was saying was untrue and there would be no refund given. When asked for another contact to reach out to, I was met with silence.
Overall, this was not the welcoming, family-friendly ballpark experience we expected. The Brooklyn Cyclones need to seriously rethink their event management and customer service before we consider returning. I highly suggest schools who book trips for their Education Days think twice...
