Burrito Blvd Middle Village — Restaurant in New York

The burritos are huge but they should be for $15 each for chicken and more for seafood. So filling you up is easy but the food in general is not amazing. I ordered it once and that is more than enough. Forever. The foil wrapping does not secure the burrito because extremely cheap and we had a burrito get punctured and opened from the container of rice the restaurant placed on top of it. Avoid reheating it. The soggy mess, depending on the ingredients chose, will not be worth it. Guac is extra unless it’s a veggie burrito. Chips & guac are okay for $6 or so but the chips are not spectacular. They are yellow corn and a nice size just lacking flavor. The guacamole seemed fresh. The rice on the side and in the burrito was okay. Tastes like it was made in the morning or day before. It’s a yellow Spanish rice used. Black beans were okay. You get some inside the burrito if you choose. All sides are pretty small especially compared to the price...

The ambiance of Burrito Blvd is cozy and relaxing with wide-spaced seats and clean environment. They served delivery and it’s also a great place for dining in because of parking and free WiFi.

The staff was friendly but slow with lots of take out and catering orders. They treated us a complimentary churro which was a perfect dessert as an apology for waiting.

We tried their Shrimp Salad Bowl and Pop Nacho with Steak. The shrimp was grilled on the spot when we ordered and needed about 5 minutes but it’s totally worth a wait. It was super tender, juicy and delicious with creamy & sweet sauce. The Nachos was average at best and the steak was well-flavored but kind of dry. Their sides were also good especially chopped zucchini which was recommended a must choice.

Best burrito HANDS DOWN. The food is always fresh and delicious. I have been there three times since their grand opening. I brought my wife and daughter with me to try for themselves and they were equally pleased. We loved the burritos, tacos, and chips with guacamole so far and plan on trying more. The staff is super courteous and friendly. I am very impressed with this place and welcome it’s arrival to our neighborhood. It is a great option for a quick lunch or dinner. It was MUCH more flavorful than the closest Chipotle location and I am glad I no longer have to drive out of my way when we have the craving.
