Normally I'd give this place 10+ stars, but after my experience this evening, I hope this mode of communication reaches restaurant management, to work out a solution, after I was abruptly hung up on. I'm extremely passionate about supporting good local restaurants, being that my family is in the business as well, and prefer to refrain from negative reviews. I've been a customer for many years, have recommended MANY others, and was disappointed about the way I was treated when I called to apologetically inform them that my tire blew out and I was stuck with a flat on the way to make a pick up order. Being on the cusp of their delivery zone, I suggested paying extra for someone to come deliver, OR in the very least pay for the order to donate to another customer with a "Merry Christmas" note, but instead I got yelled at and hung up on midsentence. How's that for hospitality 🤣. I understand it's a frustrating situation for the restaurant, but geez, work with your customers- who are the source of your livelihood- and at least treat them with respect and empathy, especially when they're stuck on the side...
Read moreWORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I called in for delivery and I'monly 2 blocks away from them. I work around the area and wanted something different other than BK. Last time I ordered, it took over an hour to deliver. I call to let them know my food was cold. They said the next time I ordered, they'll give me a discount. I called again 3 weeks later for delivery and let them know I have a discount, they said okay and they'll deliver. Almost an hour passes, still waiting, and I wanted to know the status of it, only to be told that my food was never made and they WON'T deliver to my address. I asked why and the excuse was because of the discount they can't deliver. I even went to ask them, can I meet you halfway? They said no. I worked in the food industry and when a problem like that happens, I call the customer to let them know of the situation. Why say, you'll deliver when you won't even make the food? I am not an idiot, I've had sweet and sour chicken a million times in my life. After calling back to complain she rudely hung up on me.
