I used to order from here when I first moved to Staten Island back in 2005 for college. One of my health conscious roommates told me about it and we would often order from here for breakfast or dinner when were trying to avoid eating junk food. Their food is delicious is and they use healthier ingredients without making you feel like you're eating healthy. I just recently started ordering from them again about a month ago, as I've been trying to eat better. They have a spinach salad with a variety of toppings that I'm not keen on, so I usually offer a salad with spinach and grilled chicken, no dressing and I add my own ingredients from home. Today, after about the 4th or 5th time ordering this, I receive it and it's loaded with all of the ingredients in the spinach salad on the menu. When I ordered, I specifically requested it with just grilled chicken and feta cheese. When I called to tell them about the mishap, the young lady who answered the phone (who had also taken my order originally) first told me that this was how the salad came. When I informed her that I've gotten the salad a few times, to my liking, she then basically blamed me by saying that I didn't specify that I wanted only the grilled chicken and feta - which I did. I have ordered the same thing a number of times and never had this issue before. I've worked in customer service for a number of years, and never have I argued with a customer, placed the blame on them and not offered a solution to resolve the problem. Whoever this young woman is is not good for business if this is how she handles customers on a regular basis. Needless to say, I will not be ordering from them again. Read moreI've been going to Call it a Wrap since it opened. I have ordered many, many times. Lately I've been getting my orders messed up. Today, March 11 at 6:50pm I dealt with the nastiest manager I've ever spoken to in any business. Pizza was prepared incorrectly (missing broccoli) and a wrap was missing. We called to let them know that we can accept the wrong item but we need the wrap. The manager asked if someone "took it" with out us seeing and I explained that it's just my wife and I here at the moment and that no one took it. She told us she saw the wrap in the bag leave to us. I told her about our loyalty and explained that we're not trying to get a free wrap. She said it would take over an hour to get a new one or we could get a credit. We refused because her nasty attitude lead us to believe she would tamper with the food. Finally I said she could send us the wrap but I want the pizza done correctly too. She told me that the pizza was done right and did have the broccoli on it, again she said she saw it herself, I told her I could send a picture right now and i told her how much she was offending me. Read moreI truly understand what is happening with the pandemic and I want to thank every delivery person and essential worker for placing themselves at risk for us! I just want to explain the 1 Star. My food is not to be placed on the ground in front of my home. People walk there with dirty shoes, how is you placing my food on the ground helping me? I didn’t appreciate that. Their customer service has also declined dramatically over the years! I’ve stayed quiet but this is just wrong!
1/22/22 UPDATE! So I decided to order for delivery again… customer service is trash and needs improvement. The girl who picked up made me feel like I was ordering from McDonald’s “anything else” “is that all” “anything else” I felt rushed as if I were in a drive thru. Very distasteful.
