I have been going to this place for years. My son liked getting cookies from here and so did the rest of the family. Unfortunately, I'm very unhappy with the way they handled an accident involving my 2 year old daughter. I stopped by to get some treats to bring to my friend's house and with me were also my 9 yr old son and my 2 yr old daughter. I had my 2 yr old in my arm as I'm ordering and for a quick minute I put her down as I'm making the payment. I had my 9 yr old holding her and for a split second she grabbed one of the jars from the wall and threw it on the floor. I was upset and of course I offered to pay for the damage. The person who claimed to be the manager was not concerned at all about my child and if we needed any assistance. She rushed telling the person at the register to charge me full price for the jar (very expensive by the way) I left the store feeling hurt, upset, and wondering if a jar ment more to that place than my child who could have gotten a serious cut from it. Disappointed and still hurt and no more visits to...
Read moreI had the pleasure of visiting this cute little bakery on my way to do some shopping. Immediately in awe of the lovely display of cookie jars along the length of one wall of this place. One cannot help but to be captivated by this whimsical display. Perusing through the sweets, I see quite a few unique selections. I decided to try strawberry and lemon flavored cookies. There were also seasonal ones like a pumpkin, Nutella tarts, chocolate chip and an assortment of other flavors. Once back home, I decided to start sampling my selection. The strawberry, in my opinion, tasted a little tart. Lemon as well. Each cookie that I tried, aside from pinoli, kind of had a sort of a shortbread consistency. There is a subtle sweetness. I wouldn't categorize the cookies here to be like something one might expect to find at an Italian bake shop. It is definitely very different than that. I don't know if I will have a chance to return but if I can, I wouldn't mind trying some other things because I...
Read moreI drive 20 minutes to get to this bakery. Best bakery on Staten Island by far. They have about 60 different types of cookies, chocolate covered pretzels & different drinks. Such as bubble tea, cappuccino, hot chocolate, milkshakes, tea and a few others. There's not one cookie they make that's not addicting. Especially the rainbow sprinkled almond cookies and their snow cap cookies & pretzels. I really go there for their pignoli cookies. They are unbelievable and the best price that I've found so far. Another bakery I went to charged $30 a pound for them. They charge $18 for all cookies except the pignoli cookies. Those are $20 a pound. Everytime I go there I walk out with 2 or 3 pounds of cookies and that's what's goes home with me. I had to take a break from...
