I'm not sure why I hadn't submitted a review before this... Metro Pizza is my favorite overall pizza shop on Staten Island! Always fresh and consistently tasty. My favorite is the deep dish buffalo chicken, but every slice or dish I've had has been good.
Recently, they've added a Grandma square pizza (AKA sicilian) that is absolutely delicious! In the style of Brooklyn's Famous L&B Spumoni Gardens, they put the cheese down first, then the sauce, and top it off with fresh basil! The sauce is sweet and vibrant and not like any other sauce I've tasted... It is really good.
Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Also, this place is always busy so you can be sure that your pizza hasn't been sitting around...

I’ve must’ve ordered from this place and ate inside so many times messed up part 50% of the time eating there food I throw up the following day.. only thing I can believe is one cook on shift undercooks the food, never puts any love/care into making just half asses it to get out the door straight up disgusting. Worst part is I know that it’ll maybe make me throw up but I hate wasting money after ordering. You tell them well done and it’s like.. a.. Three Strikes you're out!!! I've been ordering from this pizzeria for many years. But what this place is not going to do is continuously be rude and keep getting my money.
STRIKE 1- Go into establishment and told they can't make me a pizza "cause it takes too long"...IN A PIZZERIA!! And I was planning on sitting there with my family. (Would hate to think it's because I'm black)
STRIKE 2- Ordered shrimp parm and was rubbery and sour and I did not complain!!! Because I never had an issue with food.
Strike 3- After ordering from here for 6 years. And even just a few days ago, I'm told I was now suddenly too far for delivery.
Pizza is good ..but management is the WORST and never ever ever...
