I’ve been going here for a few months now and the woman who does my manicure/pedicure (Chi) does an amazing job! She’s very communicative. She takes her time, but she does great free hand designs and she gives recommendations but doesn’t push anything on you either. The employees here are all very sociable and friendly, which gives you more reason to come back. This is my go-to for mani/pedi. I always get gel and it never chips or changes to any off colors.

I went there for the first time for an SNS manicure on a Friday, by Tuesday each of the SNS that was applied started to lift off my natural nail and break at the edges. I went back to get it fixed and the girl, Alyssa told me this was something I did. First off , I did not a single thing, and to blame the customer is beyond unprofessional. I am applauded at the unprofessionalism exhibited. Then they played a guessing game to guess the color that I had on the nail to try to match it again. None of the colors they put in front of me looked like it so I asked to just pick a different one. I was charged $25 dollars for them to fix what was messed up and done not even 4 days prior!!! in addition to the initial $40 that I paid for the set. $65 spent in less than a week on an SNS set. And I walk out with the top coat streaked. Angry is an understatement. Unprofessional. And I won’t be returning. Save yourself a headache and...

I love this place but there is this worker, she is Indian— She had done my nails and I can say they turned out good except for the part of them coming off, it hurt a lot as the acrylic was literally glued to my actual nail and I never had no bad experience with taking off my nails without them being damaged or anything, my left thumb nail was lifting so I tried taking it off, it did not come off, my nail was bleeding (not how I tried to take off my nail) my friend who had also a bad experience with the same lady too also had struggles with removing her nails. I’ve been coming to Da Oscar Nails since I was a teenager! I haven’t been here for the past 6-years and, returned back to my old stomping grounds in Staten Island, got my nails done from Chi (although I have been going to Daisy for YEARS) and I am so happy (as always) with my nails.

It was so nice to see Chi, Henry, Heidi — as they have all been a second family to me and I’ve always had the best experience here. You will be very happy getting your nails done here. 🙏
