Tikka Grill — Restaurant in New York

Best Pakistani food I've ever had since I came to united states If you have a better place than this I'd like to know Area is not super friendly and ready for huge group to dine in. I'm judging the quality of the food Their chicken Tikka is like heaven in earth, I have tried so many places around the country. Their naans are so fresh and fluffy and really a good size for the money I live in st Louis but visited Tikka Grill by coincidence in 2010 when I had an interview in New York, I have never forgotten my reaction after my first bite of the chikken Tikka, I did not visit NY again until recently, my plan was to visit Tikka Grill after 9 years and was hoping the flavors will be the same. I had 2 Tikka roll not because I was hungry but because I knew I won't be back to NYC for some time and I will miss this food, I even took 4 orders to go on my way back to st Louis for the whole family to enjoy for dinner (yes food flew with me in the airplane) BTW they don't take credit cards so bring some cash with you Great job Tikka Grill, I wish we have something like...

Wow! We are so surprised there are so many high ratings! Our meal was horrible. This is the worst Indian food we have had in Ny. This is your warning. And I feel bad, as I know restaurant have to deal with pricing hikes, but yuck. The Chicken tiki masala tastes like Chef Boyardee. A distinctive canned tomato paste flavor. The palak aloo, also tasted like it was straight from a can. Hardly any seasoning, and inedible. I have spent nine months all over India, and thankfully never had an affront to the senses this bad. I absolutely loved this place a hole in the wall but great food and great prices.the owner very friendly and helpful I had the seik kabobwith rice and Channa masala so tasty and cooked to perfection.ive eaten at a lot of Pakistan restaurants so I know quality when I taste it had chai also excellent.
