THE HOTEL SUCKED!!! I PAID 245$ DURING 2025 MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND TO STAY HERE BECAUSE A LOT OF HOTELS WERE SOLD OUT FOR THAT WEEKEND. EVERYTHING WAS WRONG WITH THIS ROOM WHEN I FIRST ARRIVED MY KEY CARD DID NOT WORK I HAD TO GO DOWNSTAIRS AND GET A NEW KEY CARD. THE ROOM WAS COLD I TRIED TO TURN ON THE HEAT AND THE HEAT OR THE AC DID NOT WORK. OUR PLUMBING WAS NOT WORKING THE TOILET WAS NOT FLUSHING. BUT THE MOST HORRENDOUS THING WAS THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT WE WERE ITCHING BUT WE DIDN'T SEE ANY BUGS UNTIL THE MORNING. I LOOK OVER TO MY HUSBAND AND HE SAYS LOOK AND THERE IS A BED BUG ON OUR PILLOW. I KILL TWO HE KILLED TWO.WE PACKED OUR THINGS IMMEDIATELY AND GOT OUT OF THERE. I TRIED TO SPEAK TO SARAJE (THAT WAS HIS NAME)AT THE FRONT DESK. AND HE WAS NOT HELPFUL HE WOULD NOT GET THE MANAGER FOR ME. HE TOLD ME THAT HE'S NOT ALLOWED TO CALL HIM ON HIS PERSONAL DAY. SO I ASKED WHAT HE DOES WHEN PROBLEMS OCCUR AT THE HOTEL OR MANAGER HAS TO BE AVAILABLE. HE INSISTED THAT'S NOT HOW IT WORK THERE. I STAYED THERE FOR 2 HOURS WITH NO HELP. I HAD BOOKING.COM REACH OUT TO THE HOTEL I TOLD THEM THAT I HAD NOT CHECKED OUT YET BECAUSE HE WAS REFUSING TO HELP ME. I JUST WANTED A REFUND FOR MY MONEY. IT WAS A SUNDAY I HAD TO WAIT UNTIL MONDAY. I CALLED THE WHOLE WEEK AND MANAGEMENT WAS AVOIDING ME!!! BOOKING.COM FINALLY REACHED OUT TO ME AND TOLD ME THAT THEY WERE REFUSING TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK OR ANY OF MY MONEY BACK FOR THAT MATTER. AFTER I SHOW THEM MY BUG BITES AND I SHOWED THEM PICTURES AS WELL. THERE ARE A LOT OF FOREIGNERS THAT I SAW THAT STAYED THERE INCLUDING THE PEOPLE AT THE FRONT DESK SO MAYBE SLEEPING WITH BUGS IS NOT A BIG DEAL TO THEM I'M NOT SURE BUT I DID NOT LIKE IT. BOOKING.COM GAVE ME SOME OF MY MONEY BACK. I WISH THAT I COULD POST THE PICTURES THEY'RE HORRIBLE I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY HERE THE BEST PART OF THIS MOTEL IS OUTSIDE OF THE MOTEL THERE'S A LOT OF FOOD AND A GAS STATION NEAR BY. THE BATHROOMS ARE SMALL AND COMPACTED, IT'S NOT VERY CLEAN, THE FURNITURE IS OLD, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO STAY HERE. THANKS...

Room 114: Has a room ever looked greasy to you? I can't explain that smeared shiny look on old furniture, it just looked gross. Small pieces of tissue were scattered on the floor it was disgusting. UNSAFE
Room 115: Same shiny and dirty looking room. Both rooms were 5 ft away from the desk in the back corner. I felt like these are the rooms you pay a few hours for and keep it moving. I checked the window in the rooms and neither latched closed. UNSAFE First floor rooms and windows don't lock. CRAZY! The attendant states "we have cameras". What!? Do you know how many people did stuff on camera and haven't been caught? I don't choose to be a victim. My room key card didn't work and they told me "I got the master key I'll let you in your room" So you have a key to my room and I don't? Wait a minute now! I went back and forth with the one guy at the desk for a while until he got a cancellation and now there is another room available upstairs.
Room upstairs: The second floor had a nice view and windows that locked. I'm checking windows and the lights flicker. I turned around so fast to ask "did you just turn off the lights"? The Inn or Motel employee states "oh no that wasn't me". I knew that was a sign to go. An older guy showed up after an hour of going back and forth with the younger guy and was rude. No apology no nothing. Your hotel is dirty and unsafe! Thank you hotels.com for sending that email so I could get my refund. The major problem is that they hold your money and I couldn't afford to authorize $463 twice. There was no way I could pay another motel or hotel $400 plus for 2 nights and eat and travel. Read moreWhat a dump. If you find yourself in the unfortunate position as to stay here, a few things to keep in mind: When you walk into the lobby, you’ll find it to be dark, dank and smelly. The odor is a mixture of cigarette smoke, curry and wet dog. The air conditioner might not work, but if you are reasonably handy you might be able to get it going. Be sure to press the GFI reset on the plug. Also, the air filter is probably a plugged nasty mess. I used my car keys to scrape about 1/2 inch of scurf off of the air filter and the coil. That allowed the room to cool off a bit. This place is called Airway Inn for good reason. Thanks to the hotel’s close proximity to LaGuardia, there are jumbo jets taking off overhead constantly. Hoping on a good night’s sleep? You’d better think again. Watch the video for an example and keep in mind that the video is taken from INSIDE the hotel room. The highlight of my stay was when the dinner I ordered to be delivered was stolen. I ordered dinner and got a text that it had been delivered but I hadn’t received it. I went downstairs and asked the hotel clerk about it. There was an odor hanging in the air that suspiciously smelled exactly like the food that I had ordered, so naturally I asked the clerk about it. He answered with a smirk that he had no idea about any food delivery. I suspect otherwise. In short, my experience with Airway Inn made me hate New York generally and this hotel...
