Caridad Williamsbridge — Restaurant in New York

Unfortunately, I couldn't give this restaurant a 0 out of 5 stars. Door dash is to blame aswell for this review. If either party are not going to respond to me, then my honest opinion and review are going to hurt where it matters. I hope people take the time to read this and not order from these guys ever again. Only through our bad and unfortunate experience, should they hopefully change their treatment of customers. Pandemic or not, you should never be un-professional to people.

Now straight to what happened. It all started when I ordered food from this place using Door dash. The food came in later than the expected delivery time. When it finally did, the food was cold, didn't taste good at all, and in addition, I was missing two fully paid items.

So, like a concern paying customer, I went ahead and called up the restaurant. Some guy worker picked up. I went ahead to explain the problem. For FIVE whole minutes he argues with me and tells me that the missing items weren't missing. This made me feel a certain way, like a liar and a lesser man. "Like I paid for these two items and they weren't in the bag", as I kept explaining to him.

After the FIVE minutes, he then tells me sorry and that he was going to send me my items asap. An hour pass, nothing, two hour, nothing. At that very moment I was fed up( This was last night BTW)(April 30th, 2020).

I then try to reach Door dash and couldn't get a hold with them, like at all. I had better customer service using Grub hub in the past, for they would actually call the restaurant up and do something about it. Door dash is a poor excuse for a food service app. I wouldn't recommend this app to anyone.

The food is good, but it's true what everyone on here says about delivery and customer service, absolutely terrible, I've been in the business myself for 12 years and am astonished by there customer service skills, especially if you don't speak Spanish, there delivery takes forever and when it finally arrives it's cold and half the time something is missing or wrong, but I've still ordered just made sure to order way before needing it, I work literally down the block you can walk there in like 2 minutes, but I work in a bar and can not leave so I must order and it still takes over an hour, it's crazy, besides trying to order the other night at 1020 pm, and they close at 11, was told no delivery, and I stressed I'm right here, right down the block, I order all the time and still no, so I said OK, let me place it for pick up, as I had a very good friend hanging at my bar that would of been more than willing to walk down for me, but wasn't allowed to even place a pick up order, was told I had to go in to order, not to mention I've been a customer for years, if you look in their POS system, once you put in a person phone number if they call regularly it's already stored in and it also shows how long you've been a customer and how much you have spent in there business, and like I said been a customer for years, even order to my house, but will never again, you obviously don't appreciate my business, not to mention that respect businesses close in proximity should have for one another and I work in your neighboring business area, but that's fine, the is alway El bohio in the square as well and they will get all my business and anyone else who oders...

Good morning, honestly I can't believe I'm even writing this review but it has to be done. I ordered catering order on 12/15th and the delivery was supposed to be @my house by 3-3:15. By 4 pm I called and spoke to someone who stated that the delivery guy had my order and was running late. By 4:45 we spoke with the restaurant again and they gave me the number of delivery guy as well. The delivery guy hung up on me 2xs!! And the restaurant kept putting us on hold. By 4:30 pm we spoke to a Manager who stated " you must have ordered from a different Caridad". And that he was gonna send us the order but they have nothing stating we ordered. I ordered online and the money was taken out the account asap!!!! Eveytime I called I kept asking if they wanted the order number from online but NOPE! NO one wanted to check or didn't know how to!!!! I've ordered from this place for catering for years. But this was unacceptable and to be told we never paid them and they had no order from us. It was embarrassing and I have all the timeframes of all the running around and confirmation text when the food was ordered and confirmed!!!! So last minute they delivered the food @5:41pm.
