Charleys Cheesesteaks — Restaurant in New York

Hello, so first off the cashier and front end team were amazing . They were polite understanding and patience and explained the small sandwich deal clearly and didn’t rush for me to choose. I work near the mall and have dietary restrictions so I toke a chance here. I have to be honest it was filling , service was quick and effective and it was under 10$ but the meat to bread ratio wasn’t good. I would have liked more chicken . The time was midday on Sunday during the holiday crunch so I get that they only have so much for the day but the image I toke is different than advertisements. Also if there could be a gluten free bread or whole wheat options that would be amazing. The type of bread use...

My boyfriend and I made the mistake of grabbing food here yesterday. Never again. We'd both eaten at Charley's before and enjoyed it. Unfortunately when we ordered veggie subs yesterday we realized that the guy cooking them was using the same utensils to cook meat. He was going back and forth between stirring our veggies and stirring half-raw beef. I ended up throwing mine out untouched, because the whole thing smelled like a hamburger. My boyfriend decided to eat his, and spent the next 24 hours being miserably sick. So yeah, it's a great place to eat if you don't mind that the people handling your food ignore (or maybe just don't know) basic food...

The cashier was so rude to us. She didn’t even greet us or ask us what we wanted. She just death stared us until we told her what we wanted. It was so awkward. Next she was laughing and smiling idk if she was flirting with her coworker or what but she turned to us and her smile faded. We didn’t even do anything. We said thank you and in return we got silent treatment and she smacked the bag of food on the counter and left. She needs to get it together. ALSO SHE PUT MY CHEESE ONLY ON ONE SIDE OF MY FRIES AND LIKE THREE OF THEM WERE COVERED IN CHEESE AND THE REST WERE BLAND....
