I have been a fan of Chip City since their original Queens location when the menu would change daily and the line when be down the block. This was before the app and multiple locations.
I learned about this Bronx location a while ago but admittedly I never really enter the BayPlaza mall, especially not the 3rd floor. Well 12/4 was National Cookie Day and the perfect time to pay this location a visit.
For national cookie day Chip City offered a free cookie via an app order. So I took advantage and ordered two. The White Chocolate Chip Ginger and the Red Velvet Cookies n Cream. Their cookies n cream cookie is one of my favs and I am a fan of almost anything red velvet so this was a nice combo. The white chocolate ginger was better than I could have imagined.
Delicious as always and calories well spent. My one observation was that they were not as warm and soft as I’ve known them to be.
Happy to have a location in close proximity because in the past I have traveled (tolls and all) to grab these tasty treats.
Just A Note:

Read moreFinally, a Chip City for the Bronx. It is just like any other Chip City store, small, cute and has freshly baked cookies out on display for you to pick out. The store is brand new and fills the entire top floor of the mall with the aroma of cookies. The staff are extremely friendly and want to serve you cookies. They still have the buy 5 get 1 free cookie box special. This facility also rotates cookie flavors weekly like every other Chip City. My only critique is the location, why Bay Plaza? You would think a more financially beneficial location would be Fordham Road or the Gateway Mall by Yankee Stadium. However, my critique does not take away from the well deserved 5 star rating. The cookies are still below 7 dollars, which is a miracle in itself in this economy. Great service, decorative boxes and wonderful location. May all Bronx citizens rejoice for their own Chip City. Enjoy the...
Read moreThe Bronx is home to countless bakeries, many of them a Sunday staple. They've long upheld the tradition of bringing home a box of treats to share after a family feast. And while these nostalgic spots may hit the right notes for it's fans, there's a new contender I'd like to present.
Chip City’s cookies are soft, sweet, and festive. What makes them stand out is how they're perfectly baked and wonderfully chewy inside. Whether it's the colorful Teddi-Fetti graham cracker cookie or the rich classic chocolate chip, they'll satisfy any cookie lover's sweet tooth. And you can't forget the Caramel Apple Cider Doughnut cookie, with its decadent apple caramel filling and a generous cinnamon-sugar top.
If the opportunity arises, consider stopping by Chip City. It may just become your new...
