Concourse Jamaican Bakery — Restaurant in New York

My experience here today was unbelievable. A guy came in and asked for a beef patty he had $2.00 bills and 50cent change the change was 25cent pennies 25cent quarter. The lady behind the counter refused to take his money because it was 25 cent in pennies. However I brought the beef patty for him when I tell you she had a disgusting disposition. As Black people we have to do better because I can go to any other establishment chinese,pizza shop or a Spanish restaurant and they would have never told a customer he cant use pennies. Me and the lady behind the counter had some words she told me she was better then me guess why because I'm American. Black Americans we have to stop spending our money with establishments that don't respect us in our communities. Dropping a little knowledge you help those in need he's hungry it was obviously that was all he had. I'm a proud Black American and I always give back ........ DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. GO UPTOWN this place is...

Didn't like the service..went in asked about if they had macaroni and cheese the lady behind counter said yes...I then said let me get macaroni and cheese with oxtail she said they macaroni and cheese was side order so then I asked if I could sample a piece of the noodle to see if it wasnt over cooked the owner and or chef in the back say sorry we just throw away all food for the night ....I said ohhhhh wow just because I ask to sample the macaroni and cheese cause last time I order oxtail and macaroni and cheese it was over cooked and tasted like they made cream cheese sauce that tasted like they add flour to the sauce mixture...after that experience I would go there ever.

I feel that there just looking for one set people to buy food from them...bad look for black own...

I was so used to getting my authentic patties from uptown in the Bronx but ever since I moved near Yankee Stadium, I've been in search for a restaurant that served delicious patties. After extensive research and the taste test, I must admit that Concourse Jamaican Bakery has some of the most delicious patties I ever tasted and its a must to eat it with the coco bread!

The first time I bought a patty, I ate it right there in the store and decided to buy another with coco bread prior to leaving haha. The women working there must have thought I was starving the way I demolished the patty but it really was tasty.

I had a bit of trouble locating it at first because they recently moved locations but they changed the address on...
