I’m so glad this new Bengali/Indian restaurant opened up in the neighborhood! I stopped by during their grand opening when they were giving out free food, and everything was amazing—so much so that I went back the very next day for lunch.

The restaurant itself looks luxurious and has a really nice ambiance. The staff were warm and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I ordered the chicken biryani, a shrimp empanada (not sure what the Indian name for it is, but it was incredible), and a cup of chai. Every item was packed with flavor, but the chai especially blew me away—so rich and comforting!

Nestled on a busy block in the Cityline Brooklyn area, Daruchini truly defines itself in a unique way. With its diverse cuisine ranging from Bangladeshi dishes to fusion platters with East Asian influences, it truly gives customers a well-rounded experience.

Most of all however, its concept of incorporating a cafe style theme alongside the restaurant appears to be very promising. The cafe section offers a wide variety of pastries, beverages including mango lassi and bubble tea and of course the classic Desi Chai.
