Chicken Biryani: This was the star of the meal. Perfectly cooked basmati rice layered with tender, juicy chicken, and an aromatic blend of spices that hit all the right notes. Not overly greasy, not blandâjust well-balanced and satisfying. Every bite felt like it was made with care. Chicken Lollipop (Takeout): These crispy, flavor-packed chicken lollipops were a hit with the family. They had the right crunch and were seasoned just enough to make them addicting. A great choice if you want something sharable and indulgent. Shrimp Fried Rice (Takeout): Generous with shrimp and full of wok-kissed flavor. The rice wasnât clumpy or dryâit had the perfect texture and just the right amount of seasoning. It was a great fusion dish that still kept its roots intact. đď¸ Takeout Experience Even after the drive home, the food held up wellâno sogginess, no flavor loss. Packaging was neat and practical, making it easy to serve and enjoy with the family.

Read moreIâm so glad this new Bengali/Indian restaurant opened up in the neighborhood! I stopped by during their grand opening when they were giving out free food, and everything was amazingâso much so that I went back the very next day for lunch.
The restaurant itself looks luxurious and has a really nice ambiance. The staff were warm and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I ordered the chicken biryani, a shrimp empanada (not sure what the Indian name for it is, but it was incredible), and a cup of chai. Every item was packed with flavor, but the chai especially blew me awayâso rich and comforting!
Highly recommend this spot if youâre craving authentic and delicious Bengali or Indian food in the area. Iâll definitely be...
Read moreNestled on a busy block in the Cityline Brooklyn area, Daruchini truly defines itself in a unique way. With its diverse cuisine ranging from Bangladeshi dishes to fusion platters with East Asian influences, it truly gives customers a well-rounded experience.
Most of all however, its concept of incorporating a cafe style theme alongside the restaurant appears to be very promising. The cafe section offers a wide variety of pastries, beverages including mango lassi and bubble tea and of course the classic Desi Chai.
Overall would definitely recommend for local residents and everyone interested in trying Bangladeshi cuisine...
