Easily the best undiscovered restaurant in Brooklyn.
If you love short ribs, donāt bother reading this review, just go, they are delicious.
New American and Italian dishes done with a great attention to detail. Every single dish has its own personality, and is hard to resist. For starters the Greek salad is excellent. This place knows their olives, and the olive plate is another great place to start. But waitā¦leave room for the fried chicken. A unique take on wings with a slightly spicy homemade sauce that was just the right amount of kick to keep it exciting without overpowering. Highly recommend.
The Tagliatelle Bolognese is the star of the pasta dishes. Savory, rich and fragrant without being heavy, served with a cooked to perfection pasta. The basil and pesto is equally delicious, and if you are saving room for the main course, it is always a hard toss up between the two.
Unlike many Italian restaurants, the entrees are just as good as the pasta, and I would say the short ribs and bronzino are in a league of their own. The bronzino is cooked in some sort of paper, a way Iāve never had before, and the tenderness and flavor is out of this world. The short ribs are the main reason I go, and everytime I bring a friend here they agree they are something special. An excellent cut of meat, cooked to perfection, with a really wonderful and unique sauce that I've never had anything like. Just really fantastic.
The Chocolate lava cake is everything you want it to be, and if you donāt overstuff yourself on entrees, this is the one to get.
The food is really Michelin level quality, and yet it has the laid back vibe and affordable prices of a small neighborhood restaurant.
Iāve been here about ten times, and each and every time the service has been friendly and attentive. This place knows how to hire great waitstaff, and it shows.
The architecture is unique, with a tunnel shape has a cozy Parisian vibe. Itās hard to choose whether to sit inside or in the backyard, with a relaxed more casual ambiance and lots of plants. The music has always been great, and because it is usually not crowded on a weeknight, this is 10/10 for a date. Romantic, but not so much that you couldnāt bring a family here as well.
Finally, they have a first class bartender, with some really delicious mixed drinks and wine selection. I told him what I like, and he made me a drink Iāve never heard of, and now have a new favorite drink.
From what I understand new owners took over last year, and really transformed this place. Itās only a matter of time before an influencer discovers it and thereās a line out the door, so in the meantime I would highly recommend checking out this quiet hidden gem in Windsor Terrace, it is...

I moved to the neighborhood about 6 months ago, and while there are places to eat that are "fine", nothing really all that exciting. Then I went to Della.
Before I get to the food, I need to say that love the interior. It's a cool vibe inside, and the mix of 2-seat booths and beautiful mid-century modern chaired tables are just beautiful. Wherever it was, I would like it, but it is an absolute gem of a place in the neighborhood. It's like nothing else around, and it just feels a little bit special inside.
To the food -- it is top notch -- really, really good. Definitely start with the olives -- I never liked olives but these are a nice way to start the experience.
I haven't yet tried all of the different appetizers, but the ones I have tried have also been outstanding. The wings are just the right size -- while I wanted more of, it would've spoiled my appetite. The crostini and the meatballs were also hits.
For dinner, the Duck Ragu pasta, the bolognese and the roast chicken were all outstanding. I would say that if this place were in Soho or midtown, but I love that it is a local place. It really feels special in the neighborhood.
Did I mention the drinks? I can be difficult to please sometimes at the bar, but the Manhattans were just right, and the other special drinks (like the intro to Aperol) ... just wow.
Finally, to top it all off, the executive chef sat at the table and we chatted for a good part of the evening the third time I was there. The wait staff is helpful, attentive, and not overbearing. I will be back again and again. If you are anywhere near Windsor Terrace (or even if you aren't), this place is special and will be my go-to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAfter an evening out, I was looking for some good food . I found rhis place on Google maps and decided to call . It was after 9 the owner answered and told me to come . I arrived in 15 minutes and was greeted by the staff, 2 gentlemen both welcoming. I sat down, and the owner handed me the menu and went over the specials for the night. Alright, now for the food and drinks. Drink pineapple mojito 10/10 simple and to the point. Appetizer I forgot the name but it was a bread boat with cheese and a cracked egg in the center it was good. 8/10 ( not a fan of the egg) entre was a duck ragu with parpadelle house made pasta, it was so good, My first time having duck prepared that way 10/10. Lastly, the desert was a lava cake with vanilla ice cream ( the table across had creme Brulee & the strawber shortcake they polished it lmaoooo) . I was dining alone, and the owner and I had a pleasant small talk he was so nice. Food and service were overall great. I'm happy I stumbled across this place. I will...
