For the 2nd time, I was ready to scream by the time I left. I've been shopping here since they opened. We needed them instead of the ginormous drugstore that bought out our other market. But things have really gone downhill in the last few months, at least later at night. That's when I usually come here. They close at 10. I got there at 8:20. I tried to find an item they always have. But somebody decided to move things around and now nothing makes sense. I finally went to a cashier, since the manager was not around. He said he would tell the manager and he could check downstairs. I continued shopping, searching for other items I know are there but have moved. They have Galbani cheese that was on sale in 3 different areas. They have different mineral water brands mixed in with different soda brands. They have baby food in the middle of the bakery department. I went back to the cashier. The still-invisible manager was not to be found. The cashier said he went downstairs to check but I never saw him go down the stairs. I needed delivery, which cuts off at 9. The waiting around and searching high and low for things was eating the time. I finally got to the register and asked if I could still get delivery. The manager showed up and said no and "It's 5 to 10!" But it was only 9:15. I left empty-handed because I couldn't carry all of it and they made me angry, not letting me know if they had the item until I tracked them down, and they did not even give an announcement that delivery was going to end LIKE A NORMAL GROCERY IN THIS CITY. The time before this, I asked, again checking out at the register, how much something cost. I was met with a silence that could only mean nobody spoke English. I asked if anybody did speak English and everybody got cranky and said they spoke English. So what was that all about? Dumb and dumber? There are some good folks here and I don't want to dump on them. But I am running into trouble here, more often than not anymore. I blew a lot of time on nothing. Hire more people who care...
Read moreI would give Windsor Farms 0âs if I could!
I am writing this review at 9:40 p.m. The schedule says that Windsor Farms is open until 10 pm. I called to confirm and the manager told me they were open until 10 pm.
I arrived at 9 pm. There were at least a half a dozen if not a dozen other shoppers in the store shopping but the manager was already going around the store and turning off all the lights to all of the different places.
The manager clearly had a very bad attitude and was actively trying to rush everyone to get them out of the store.
I was repulsed by this rude and dismissive behavior towards the customers and wasn't going to be rushed although I only planned to buy a few things quickly instead I just turned around and walked out.
If your schedule says you're open until 10pm, stick to your schedule or change it but don't treat the consumers who frequent and support your store like grifter's because you want to get out of there early!
The cashiers are generally very good, the people that work there are also good but I have encountered the management on a few occasions and they are horrible!!!
It's the main reason why I only shop at Windsor Farms to buy things sporadically as a last resort.
And if I can wait until the next day, 99% of the time I do!
Get your act together Windsor Farms and straighten out the management that is ungrateful and has a bad...
Read moreGreat selection! I like the fresh rolls and bakery items here. The produce is fresh... one criticism is the fruit in the plastic boxes needs to be checked before you buy (flip over and look and bottom) no fuzz found yet here but many times it went bad quickly in my refer... (because it was sitting around in the market a while). Good beer selection. A tight squeeze sometimes around the aisles with the 'half carts' they provide (the half carts have a bottom rack to carry the same amount of items as the large carts, and they do). Good parking, an electric vehicle charging station too. Great neighborhood and people shopping... I like this a lot. Check out might get a little confusing as once a cashier didn't stack the items at the end of the register or into bags (but put the items back to the front with things that weren't rung up) ...had to check the receipt that time but it was OK. A bonus is its right next to a Walgreens (and the two share the parking lot), two stores with one visit is a time-saver ...and... wait for it ...the Deli. The Deli Counter (more like a 'section') at Windsor Farms Market is 'par excellence' "...they have fried chicken for sale, too... who has fried chicken anymore?" (Among the many 'goodies' prepared for you,...
