EL Nuevo Valle #2 Restaurant — Restaurant in New York

I unfortunately did get a chance to eat any food because the location makes ordering food more difficult than it needs to be. Walked into the location and "there is no menus" inside the location according to staff, single menu item on a wall, but they have TVs advertising DJ nights and Hookah at this RESTAURANT location. We notice "Combos" posted on the sides OUTSIDE of the location, (with no sort of pricing available on the poster other than the word "Price"). We go outside the location to take photos of the combo we were intrested in and walk back into the restaurant a second time to visually show the photo to the employee to explain want we wanted (FYI, we are a family of fluent spanish speaking people, speaking to Spanish speaking employees. So there wasn't much of a language barrier than most people may/may not experience when walking in to order food). Only to get a price of $30 for one small combo of food. We call up family that lives in the area and we're told that they normally get charged $10 for lunch (which we arrive to the location around lunch and wasn't sold any lunch options) and usually charged $20 for combos. So we were obviously surprised when we are being charged $30 for an order. We immediately go to walk out and start to get called back as if now they are willing to negotiate a cheaper price. Worst service ever. Me and my husband went and ordered a family meal. Everything was fine until it came time for him to pay. He was paying with credit card and the lady assisting use asked for ID my husband didn't have ID so he told me to pay. I take out my debt card and she ask me for ID. I said I'm using a debt card since when do I need ID. I reach back down in my purse to grab my ID. When I looked back up she had took our food put it behind the counter and walked off. My husband walked over and said we're ready ,she looked up at him and walked away. The male working there also at the time sent another female over ,I asked her why was the other lady so rude and her reply was " Thats how she is , don't pay her anything attention ". NOT WHEN IT COMES TO MY MONEY!! . Customer service is everything when I'm spending my money in your establishment. I will NEVER go to this place again....

I came into the restaurant to get breakfast and the lady serving me already had this rude demeanor when I asked her how much the breakfast was. She packed my food so fast not even asking if I was going to dine inside or take it go, mind you I was the only person in there. I told the lady that was serving me that I was going to sit down after she already packed my food. I went to sit down to eat my food out of the aluminum tray! None once did she come to my table to see if everything is okay or if I needed anything else, water, nothing. After I finished eating my food I went back to the lady and asked for a water and walked out. I don’t know what is the bug up the ass of these older Dominican women when it comes to attending a younger woman in this industry. This type of attitude is disgusting and sad especially woman to woman from the same culture...
