I didn’t want to believe the bad reviews that I read about this place. I told myself that people sometimes exaggerate or just complain over simple things and make a big deal by sending a bad review. I WAS SO WRONG! This place is not a hotel, it’s a camouflaged shotty motel. ||I had travel from Connecticut and booked what I thought was a quiet and safe place to stay overnight, after attending a gospel concert at the Lehman Center in the Bronx. While checking in, I was dumbstruck to see the poor caliber of people floating in and out of there. As I walked down the hallway towards my assigned room, I heard boisterous shouting coming from one of the rooms. Unfortunately, as I got closer to my assigned room, I realize that it was coming from the room exactly across from the one that I was given. There were at least 6-8 different female voices shouting at each other, as they all tried to speak at the same time. In the mix of all of this, loud vulgar music pierced out of their room over all that shouting. At 1:30 a.m. in the morning, after bearing patiently with this nonsense for three and a half hours, while hoping they would get tired and go to sleep, not only did the noise continue but now, my room had become overwhelmed with the smell of marijuana as it drifter from their room into mine through the opening at the bottom of the door. At this point, I reached for the phone to contact the front desk, the phone was not dead. I got dressed, traveled from the fourth floor to the front desk. The attendant, saw me and just keep talking on his cell phone. I waited for his attention and he grudgingly ask me what I wanted after I stood there waiting for about 5 min. I told him the situation and he gave me a room on a floor that he said was non smoking and quiet. I didn’t know that smoking was even allowed in hotel these days. I normally stay at the Marriott Hotel and never had these kind of issues. The new room was quiet thank God but everything in the room had cigarette odor. EVERYTHING! The bathtub had watery handwashing pump soap, on the wall, as bath soap. As I waiting to check out later that morning, I heard another guest complaining about the same noise and that someone keep banging on his door and made attempts to come in. He said he feared for his life. This place had not security guards. His room phone was also dead but for the front desk from his cell. I tried to call from my cell, when I was having a problem, but the front desk never picked up. ||The area surrounding the hotel is a slummy. Safety is definitely a concern. ||I don’t usually write reviews but I can’t bear to know someone else would jeopardize their health and safety and subject themselves to poor service by booking this hotel. Don’t take the chance! |You will most definitely regret...

Read moreIf I could rate this place 0 stars I would. I don’t normally leave reviews but I felt like I had to I booked a room for 2 days on the second night around 1:30 am someone opened the door saying “Check out time” While I was sleeping with my daughter thank god a light sleeper I woke up quick and slammed the door I asked him who he was and he just kept saying “ check out time” mind you check out time is at 11 am, not 1:30 am. he did not knock at all he just open the room door with the key card. when I called the first desk and asked the worker why did someone open the room door saying check out if I booked the room for 2 days. he said he doesn’t know he was on shift alone, so I told him to rewind the cameras and I want to speak to a manager asap. He then dared to say it was probably the maintenance guy after saying he didn’t know and was working alone. I left my number and name at the front desk for the manager to call me so I could report it. To this day I still haven’t received a call. I called a few times and they have just been giving me the runaround. As a female with everything going on in this world that was super unprofessional and scary.
UPDATE: it’s been over a month, and I still been calling to speak to a manager. still haven’t received answers, a callback, and not even a apology. As you can see the owner replied, saying things I NEVER mentioned in my review lol.i never said anything about the cleaning service. Although your services were trash I only posted about one of your male workers coming into the room I was staying in at 1:30am without knocking. And I definitely didn't stay in that hotel for 10 days. Lol please RE READ what I wrote. Shows ya how unprofessional they are. How about ya call me back? I leave my number at the front desk EVERYWEEK. Ladies please be...
