So I was super excited to try these tamales . I’ve been telling my friend for a while and we finally went to have some. We arrived and it took about 5 mins for them to drop off the Menu. I asked for Rajas con queso they ran out we asked for Mole they didn’t have de Frijol tampoco to simplify it we had no choice but to pick adobo rojo and verde my homegirl had tamales de chicharrón Oaxaca. Not going to lie the Rojo hit the spot reminded me of my Tias 🫔. There wasn’t any more Atoles just Coffee. 😒 when we got the tamales it were a bit in the Small side and they were a bit cold. Mind you it took about 10minutes to drop off the food With all that being said we both left with the disappointment of not being able to try the tamales we wanted and the Atoles. I wanted to try a pan Dulce but I was afraid it for it to be stale and I didn’t want to complain for the bread. It’s a cute spot but , there’s definitely space for improvement and I believe they should hire one more server it does get busy. If we do go back it’ll be mostly for the tamales de Oaxaca or try other food but the tamales I think I can get them closer on 82 &...
Read moreTamales are always so delicious! I've ordered delivery several times and it's always a hit with the family. Everything it's packed to perfection. I also visited the store, they have an amazing breakfast menu as well. Service was great . 3 ladies on the front , busy packaging and taking orders in a timely manner, super informative about the items they don't have . Tacos are also great. And the sopes are amazing . The only criticism I have it's with the salsa served on the tacos , it was so spicy it was inedible for some members of my family.theyre we're in so much pain it not only killed the amazing flavors but it trown the whole meal. I'm Mexican so i can handle spicy , but yeah too many Chiles on all the salsas . Other than that it's always a pleasure order from this location and I'm sure I'll do it over and...
Read moreVery very very good food! Solid food/prices/casual ambiance!! Been a frequenter since they had their cart! So happy that they opened their storefront. Tacos (chorizo, steak, AL pastor) are great $4. I like their quesadillas that they use with Oaxacan cheese. My fav item tonight was the quesadilla with chicaron. It was minced pork juice goodness with some cilantro mix. Champurrado could have been warmer but it was room temp. It still tasted great.
They didn't have some drinks like Avena and horchata when I went but it was also 8pm on Saturday.
They accept credit cards!
Left with a dozen tamales to take home to save/freeze!
Will come again when I'm in neighborhood!
I wish them...
