My friend and I tried Farington's for the first time last Saturday and it exceeded our expectations. We easily made a reservation online on their website for brunch at 1:00 PM. To start, you're given a platter of mini pastries, mini bagels, etc. The brunch menu is so inexpensive for the amount of food AND the included beverage that you almost can't believe it. We each got a mimosa to start; both of our entrees also came with a serving of fruit. My friend got the waffle with bacon and added eggs. She ate every last bite. *I have dairy allergies so I cannot have milk, cheese, butter (yes, that means all the things you think of as necessary for breakfast and brunch) but I can have eggs. I ordered the steak & egg panini with potatoes and expressed my concerns over my dairy allergies to our server. The chef came out TWICE to check in with me: once upon placing my order and again as the food was brought to our table. Honesty, that never happens and I really appreciated it. I always state my allergies when ordering anywhere and then just hope they are carefully tended to. Not only was my meal that day absolutely delicious, but it was safe for me to enjoy. We will definitely recommend Farington's to others AND be back! Thank you so much!

Came to Farington's Cafe and Restaurant For brunch today and wow! This was one of the best tasting and most affordable brunches I’ve been to. A wide selection to pick from and a drink included for only $18.95. My partner and I were very impressed. Farington, the owner and head chef comes out and greets his guest and introduces himself which was very nice. Our waiter, who we unfortunately didn’t catch the name of was amazing, so kind and gave us great recommendations and made awesome drinks. Highly highly recommend the Shakshouka. Portions are perfect and we left 100% satisfied. Couldn’t recommend this place more. Best brunch ever and such a cute spot!

Farington’s just opened in Bullshead on Richmond Ave in Staten Island. It was our first time eating here and it surely did not disappoint. Chicken Corn Chowder…I had to ask for bread to sop it all up it was so good. Pappardelle and meatballs. It was fresh, it was plentiful and the sauce was excellent. My wife ate the bourbon chicken w honey and goat cheese, it was PHENOMENAL (no pic unfortunately). And even though The desserts are not made there, they were fantastic too. The service, fantastic, the prices, very reasonable. And if you know the owner youll know that you’re getting quality as he has decades in the business as an executive chef.

We’ve come here twice for Mother’s Day. Last year they were a bit slow and disorganized but the food was good, so we came again this year.

Obviously being a holiday, we know it’ll be busy. However, they are severely understaffed and underprepared, to the point where there’s no excuse. We were sat late. To start they put out a single cold bagel without any butter, jam, or anything else. Two different waiters came over to ask if we ordered, and we hadn’t. They brought one of our three plates over ten minutes before the others so the other parties sat there waiting. It was completely disorganized, and the food was unfortunately lacking in quality and quite over priced for what you get. My shakshouka came with chicken (it traditionally doesn’t have chicken in it) which wasn’t mentioned on the menu. My brother’s potatoes came out cold. The chicken just tasted like oil. 2 of the 3 dishes come with lukewarm chunky potatoes. None of the waitstaff seemed like they knew what was going on. The bathroom sink wasn’t working when we were there. Also, I find it odd that the receipt when you pay doesn’t list the cost of the items…

Again, totally understand what it’s like to be swamped, we’ve all worked in food service before. But this was a pretty unfortunate experience and we likely...

The food was disappointing. They have a small menu, which usually means a focus on fresh ingredients and quality dishes, but everything looked and tasted like the generic pre-made frozen food that you'd get in a cheap bar or low end diner.

The crab cakes come deep fried which is an obvious tell they were frozen. The presentation is really sad with these deep fried brown blobs and a carpet of bland lettuce on the plate.

The BBQ ribs were horrible. I had to return them. The meat didn't taste fresh, had chunks of fat on it and didn't come off the bone easily. It was a lot more chewy than tender. These were some of the worst ribs I've ever had.

Ended up settling on a burger. It was a 4 out of 10. Cheap generic high fructose syrup buns with meat that was of questionable freshness. I asked for medium rare, it was more like a medium well.

I don't understand why this restaurant has such a high rating (4.9 stars when posting this review). The place was almost empty at peak dinner time. A big red flag I should have heeded. Left disappointed feeling like I should have just cooked at home. Would have been a better prepared and much...
