FOOD: My man and I came here for the first time and let me start by saying the food was good. The egusi & pounded yams (fufu) was everythingggg I tore it up, he liked his jollof only thing was the chicken was a bit tough that day. Prolly was just a bad day but it didn’t stop me from enjoying the rest of my food.
COSTUMER SERVICE: Now this is where I got pissed. When my boyfriend went to pay, this other lady came out and was extremely rude for no reason. The two ladies said that his card didn’t go though, although he received a notification on his phone sayin it charged his card. This other lady was kinda implying that we was trynna steal food.. talkin bout “we’ll you gon have to take that up with your bank” long story short I payed & later in the day it showed that his payment was processed fully as well. So they got us to pay twice for one meal. The lady that took our order was nicer I guess, although she did bring us waters while we were eating that we didn’t ask for that were not free. She was giving mother tho, ya know? Like “don’t eat without a drink” kinda stuff. So I didn’t mind. I was just annoyed with their hastiness to treat us like thieves. We won’t be back but if you do go just...
Read moreWent there with my friends and got some food. The food we got was $300 ("to go"). I alone bought food over $100. Gave tip of over $20. Got back to my hotel to find out the jollof rice I got was bad. Took it back and the lady that attended to me when I bought the food & to whom I gave the tip to gave me a different jollof rice but no fish. When I got my food, I got it with fish so when I returned it, I took everything back with the fish. She even told me I didn't have to bring the food back but when she made me a new plate, she had no fish in it because she wanted me to take it back with the old fish from 3 days prior. The server really made me mad because I worked away with new jollof rice & old fish. She told me "but the fish is not bad na". Not going...
Read moreThe service here was downright embarrassing. The waitress had the nerve to roll her eyes and give me attitude just because they ran out of jollof rice and I needed time to pick something else. Instead of offering solutions, she acted like my presence was an inconvenience.
To make it worse, the waiter looked dusty and unkempt like no pride was taken in presentation at all. If that’s how the staff shows up to customers, it makes you wonder what goes on behind the scenes.
This isn’t just bad service, it’s disrespectful. If management doesn’t raise the standards, this place will keep losing customers like me because nobody spends money to be...
