HOTEL SUNBORN — Hotel in New York

In all fairness, over the past 2 years the accommodations here have declined. The staff no longer cares for the patrons or the cleanliness of the rooms. They just want the money and get out on-time for the appointed checkout time. If it weren't for the convenience of location I would venture elsewhere. On a few infrequent occasions my wife and I have checked out late. Now, after an interval of 2 months since our last visit we have been blocked from this place! For being tardy. Wow, these people have shown to be very petty. And Now here we are , 8 months later and still their system denied us patronage. 8 months since our last stay, and No Occupancy accepted, as a PERMANENT DENIED...

No Wi-Fi. Shady staff (will ask for extra money or don’t return change and say it’s for a charge). Some of the beds in that hotel are so terrible like they’ve been sat on for years in the same spot. Like extremely dipped in. Very loud guests, activity in the parking lot outside like it’s a night club. And then there’s the train: phone signal and internet cutout whenever a train comes by (frequently during the day) and the wifi doesn’t work. All for $120-150 a night.

Pros: microwave and fridge. Easy access to trains, buses, highway. Taxis/Ubers are never more than a few...

I stay at this hotel for 2 days and I must say I would never book here ever again the rooms are dirty and room service sucks I waited more then 5 hours just for cleaning towels and garbage bags that never came, at nights it’s so noisy every second you hear people yelling and people slamming the room doors not to mention the neighborhood isn’t that great either and having to constantly hear the train while you sleep is even...
